World Student Photography Contest & Exhibition 2015

• Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad is organizing World Student Photography Contest & Exhibition 2015.
• All the students enrolled in undergraduate courses related to photography are invited to take part in the contest.There is no participation fee for the World Student Photography Contest & Exhibition 2015 and each student can submit 3 entries for the contest.
• The students will be awarded with prizes worth 1500 euro while their tutors will be honored with Crystal Trophies.The applications for the World Student Photography Contest & Exhibition 2015 can be sent online as well as offline.
• The last date to participate in the competition is November 01, 2015 and the winners will be announced in the month of November/December 2015.

World Student Photography Contest & Exhibition 2015 Rewards               

World Student Photography Contest & Exhibition will award the students submitting the best image along with their tutors. The following awards will be given to the winners of the contest:

• First Prize: The winner of the first prize will get a crystal medal, cash prize worth 1500 euro (Approx. Rs.1,00,000) and a Crystal Medal for the Tutor/Professor.
• Second Prize: The photograph selected for the second prize will be awarded with a Crystal Medal, Cash Prize of 800 euro (Approx. Rs.55,000) and Crystal Medal for the Tutor.
• Third Prize: The winner of the third prize will be given a Crystal Medal, Cash prize of 400 euro (Approx. Rs.27,000) and Crystal Medal for the Tutor.
• Other than the above prizes three equal prizes will also be offered.

World Student Photography Contest 2015 Application Process

The application for the World Student Photography Contest & Exhibition can be made online as well as offline, the entries can be sent by e-mail or post along with the application form. The details of the application process are as follow:

• Mode of Application: The entries for the competition can be sent online or offline. >> Click here to download the Application Form.
• Number of Entries: A student can send maximum three photographs.
• Specification of the Photograph: The photograph being submitted for the contest need to be in accordance with the following:
  • For online submission
    • Format: non-layered TIFF or JPEG.
    • Resolution: No longer than 35 cm the shorter side in 300 dpi.
    • Color: sRGB
    • Size: 10 MB maximum.
    • Naming: The name of the Photography file must contain the name and surname of the contestant.
  • For offline submission
    • File Format: JPEG
    • Resolution: 20cm longer side 300dpi
    • Color: CMYK – 8Bits/Channel.
    • Naming: The name of the file sent by e-mail must be the same as the title of the photography sent by post and they must contain the name and surname of the contestant.

Submission of the Application

As mentioned earlier the applications can be submitted online as well as offline. In both the cases the contestants are required to prepare their photograph as per the requirements mentioned above and once the files are ready to be submitted, candidates can follow the submission process:

• For Online Submission: The complete application form along with the photographic files are to be e-mailed to ‘bijenale.foto@gmail.com’
• For Offline Submission: The completely filled application form along with duly pasted Photo Sticker and Envelope Sticker are to be sent to the following address:

World Student Photography Contest & Exhibition 2015 Selection Process

• Jury: The judging of the entries will be done by an International Jury.
• Result: The winners of the photography contest will be announced in the opening ceremony of the Biennial in Novi Sad in the month of November/December 2015.
