The Wiki Loves Monuments conducted by Wikipedia is a photography contest for those who can brighten up their local site seeing areas, monuments in general, by uploading the best you can photograph with what is already a masterpiece. The participant can submit a photograph of the following Monuments in India. The photos that are selected at
International Photos: The participants from India can also submit the photographs of any International Monument provided that monument is present in the WLM participating and for this, they need to upload their photograph in that country's upload section.
It is an international photography contest which was started in 2010 from Netherland and was conducted at European level in 2011 and after that at the global level in the year 2012. In 2012 around 3.5 lakh images were submitted by participants from 35 countries.
The motive behind this competition is to enhance Wikipedia in its local and regional origin. Now. This year the WLM contest is being organised in 40+ countries.

They will be chosen by the Wiki Loves Monuments India team on the basis of the total count of submissions as well as on the coverage and quality of the photograph.
The national juries will nominate photos for the international contest, which has its own jury and awards.

Guidelines for the Photograph
The photographs have to be numbered as per the ASI list and then uploaded here
For International Monuments
National Round: In every participating country one can win awards (in the form of money). National winners in India will be intimated on their registered email ID before November 30, 2016.
Jury for the Indian Contest
International Round: The best photos in each country will then be nominated for the International Round. The photographs will then be judged by International Jury, which will select the best monument photos in 2016.
