TiE Young Entrepreneurs Program 2017-18

TiE Young Entrepreneurs Programs is for students of class 9-12 having an interest in learning the business skills. TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) has introduced a global program ‘TYE’. The program was initiated in 2005 and during these years most of the reputed schools in Delhi have sent their students to take TYE classes. Through this Young Entrepreneur program, students will have an incredible learning experience and an opportunity to develop & discover entrepreneurship ideas and skills. TYE program was held in 17 locations around the world and students from all over the globe have participated in it.

Details about TYE 2017- 18 - Delhi Chapter

• It’s a classroom program of 2 months and students enrolled will be taught entrepreneurship & leadership skills required to initiate their own business or start their own venture.
• The lectures will be delivered by professionals and successful entrepreneurs with years of industry experience.
• Classes will start in October 2017 and will be held at IIT Delhi on Sundays (for ½ day)
• During the classroom sessions, students have to develop a business plan and based on further selection, they might take part in TYE Global 2017-18.

• Winning team of the b-plan competition will represent India in TYE Global competition in USA.
• Award for Winners of TYE Global Program - Discounted Air Tickets along with Cash Award of Rs 1,40,000 from Lufthansa Airlines
• Winners of TYE Global will also receive $15,000 worth of cash and kind awards.
• The TiE Young Entrepreneurs class will begin from October 2017.

To attend classes, students have to enrol themselves by paying Rs. 8000 as the program fee inclusive of taxes, course material, boot camp and refreshments on the recommendation of their respective schools.

Business Plan Competition

• Students attending the TYE Program have to come up with a business idea and prepare a b-plan for a Business Plan Competition with the help of an assigned mentor who is a CEO/ senior professional from the industry.
• Students will have to participate in a team.
• The winning team of TYE program will represent India in the TYE Global competition in the USA in 2016-17.
