The Green Olympiad Junior 2015

• The Energy and Resource Institute (TERI) has launched Green Olympiad Junior 2015, a global competition for class 4 & 5 students.
• It’s a written exam that will take place at the respective schools of the candidates and will consisit of  multi-answer type questions.
• Theme for Green Olympiad Junior 2015- The theme of the Green Olympiad Junior 2015 is “Our Environment” which will foster younger kids to gain valuable and relevant information about the environment.
• Green Olympiad Junior 2015  will be held on December 10, 2015.

• All the applicants will receive certificates of participation/ merit/ distinction, based on their performance in the Green Olympiad Junior 2015 from TERI.

Green Olympiad Junior 2015 Application Process

• Students have to Register for Green Olympiad Junior 2015 through their respective schools. No individual participation will be accepted.
• Every school has to register a minimum of 20 students for participating in the Green Olympiad Junior 2015. However, there is not any fixed number for maximum registration.

Registration Fee for Green Olympiad Junior 2015

• Indian students have to pay Rs.100 as the Registration fee to their respective schools.

• International Students have to pay US $5 as the registration amount to their schools

• Schools will submit the total amount multiplied by number of participating students through bank transfer or Demand Draft made in favor of "TERI" payable at New Delhi.

  • Cash or Cheque won’t be accepted.

  • For Indian Schools: School can retain Rs.100 for every 20 registered participants and in case there are more than 500 participants, Rs. 2500 can be retained towards logistic and other expenditure incurred for organizing the Green Olympiad Junior 2015.

• The school has to send the filled in application form along with the registration fee to the address given below. Entries received after October 15, 2014 will not be accepted.
• If schools want an immediate acknowledgement receipt from TERI, then, they have to send a self-addressed stamped postcard (50 paise) along with the Registrations.

• Examination Material: Schools will get their Examination Material few days before the date of examination.

• The candidates will be awarded on the basis of the marks attained in the examination.

Examination Pattern for Green Olympiad Junior 2015

• Questions asked would be Multiple-answer type with no Negative marking.

• The Questions will be based on General Knowledge, General Science and Social studies.

• Students participating in the Green Olympiad Junior 2015 have to take test at their school premises only.

            Medium of Examination: English only
            Examination Date: December 10, 2015 (10 am-11.00 am)

Green Olympiad Junior Result 2015

• Schools will receive the students’ mark sheets along with participation certificates and from there, students can get their results.
• Results will be published on the project website on completion of the evaluation procedure.
