About The Fabric of Change Challenge
- The Fabric of Change Challenge is an initiative by C&A Foundation and Ashoka Changemakers to draw attention towards poor safety and working conditions, and highlighted the systemic problems that plague the global apparel supply chain.
- By the means of The Fabric of Change Challenge the organizers want the participants to come up with collaborative solutions to transform old ways of doing business in global fashion & apparel industry.
- The challenge is open for everyone including individuals, organizations, partnerships, not-for-profits, for-profits, and charities from any country.
- The winners of the challenge will get cash prize worth 50000 Euro (Approx. INR 36 lakh) while 2 runner ups will be entitled for cash prize worth 20000 Euro (Approx. INR 14 lakh).
- Entries for The Fabric of Change Challenge will be accepted online.

- Nationality: Candidates of any nationality can be a part of the Challenge.
- Age: There is no restriction related to the age of the participant.
- Participation: The challenge is open for all individuals, organizations, partnerships, not-for-profits, for-profits, and charities from any country.
Not Eligible for the challenge
- Employees of C&A, C&A Foundation, Anthos and Porticus are not eligible to be a part of the challenge.

The Fabric of Change Challenge Reward
The Fabric of Change Challenge Rewards
All finalists will be provided with stipend to attend the Fabric of Change Summit. The details related to the prizes to be offered to winners are as follow:
- Grand Prize: The entry selected for the award of grand prize will get 50000 Euro (Approx. INR 36 lakh).
- Runner Ups:Two runner ups will be awarded with 20000 Euro (Approx. INR 14 lakh).
- Early Entry Prizes:Two entries selected from the early entries will be awarded with cash prize of 1000 Euro (Approx. INR 70,000).
- Youth Blogger Prize: Theone passionate blogger with a stipend of 1,000 Dollar (Approx. INR 64,000), plus a travel stipend to the Fabric of Change Summit.

The candidates willing to be a part of the Program are required to register themselves online to be a part of the Challenge:

- Completing the entries: Once theregistrationprocess of The Fabric of Change Challenge has been done applicants can enter the competition by signing in to their registered account.
- Candidates are required to update information related to their organization such as budget, related sectors, location, pitch, the project and media associated with the project.
- Submission: There are 2 deadlines for the submission of the project i.e. early deadline and regular deadline. The early deadline is October 21, 2015 while the regular deadline is November 18, 2015.

The Fabric of Change Challenge Selection Process
The entries submitted for The Fabric of Change Challenge will be judged on the basis of the following criteria:
- Innovation: The entries should demonstrate uniqueness and considerable difference from other initiatives already in the field. Complete description of the functioning of the project based on original & ground-breaking ideas will be appreciated.
- Social Impact: Entries should reflect an understanding of the systemic barriers within the project’s specific context and should describe how the project impacts these barriers, giving details about how the impact of the project is measured through both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Organizational Sustainability: Entries should include a clear plan for reaching long-term goals and securing financial backing. Also providing the details of future plans related to funding.
Finalists: The name of projects shortlisted as finalists will be announced on February 17, 2016
