About ETYL-B School
- The Economic Times Young Leaders B-School Edition popularly known as ETYL-B-School is a platform for recognising and rewarding India’s most promising final year management students.
- This initiative is meant to encourage, identify and nurture young individuals many of who will be stepping into the corridors of India Inc. for the very first time.
- The program includes a series of assessment tools, online as well as on-ground and face-to-face interviews with leaders from the corporate world.
- Last year the ETYLB School Edition received close to 10,000 participants and out of them 22 were identified as promising young leaders stepping into India Inc.
- In the 2015 edition, 11 of the 22 Young leaders have joined the coveted Aditya Birla Group Leadership Programmes.

Detailed Four Steps to be followed to participate in the Contest
- Step 1: Personality: Candidates first have to Register. Thereafter, they have to spend 20 minutes on a quick & simple online personality test
- Step 2: Aptitude: Candidates have to take in Online tests on quantitative, verbal ability, logical reasoning & managerial skills
- Step 3: Expertise: An assessment on functional knowledge and oral communication
- Step 4: Interview with the industry’s top CEOs
Important Points
- A shortlist at the end of every phase determines the candidates who will move forward.
- A List of the ET Young Leaders B-School Edition is attained at the end of assessments across four phases.
- At the end of every phase, we will publish a shortlist on the website and inform shortlisted candidates on the email address and/or mobile number mentioned in the registration form.

- Candidates will be selected on the basis of all the four steps mentioned above.
- The decision of the last two stages i.e. An assessment on functional knowledge and oral communication and Interview with the industry’s top CEOs will be taken by judges.
- The decision taken by the judges will be final and abiding
What will happen in each step of the Program
Step 1: Online Personality Test
- Register at the official website
- Verify the email
- Upon verification a a User ID & Password will be e-mailed to you
- Complete the 20 minute personality test
- There will be a score-based shortlisting and qualified candidates will move to the next phase
- Shortlisted candidates will receive an e-mail informing whether they have been selected or not for the next phase
Step 2: Online Tests on Aptitude & Managerial Competencies
- A User ID & Password along with the test link will be emailed to qualified candidates
- In this phase, candidates will have to take two sets of tests
- There will be a score-based shortlisting and qualified candidates will move to the next round
- Shortlisted candidates will receive an e-mail informing whether they have been selected or not for the next phase
Step 3: Functional Expertise
- Business problems based on one of the Aditya Birla Group's businesses will be emailed to the qualified candidates
- Candidates can choose the problem as per their choice
- A briefing will be carried out by resp. Aditya Birla Group representative on Google Hangouts
- Students will have to submit the following:
- Problem analysis and solution in a PPT format
- A 5 min. video presentation (details will be shared during this phase)
- Curriculum Vitae
- There will be a score-based shortlisting and qualified candidates will move to the next round
- Shortlisted candidates will receive an e-mail informing whether they have been selected or not for the next phase
Step 4: Interviews
- Candidates who successfully complete Phase 3 will be called for a personal interview to be conducted by a senior industry leader
- This phase will be conducted in Mumbai
