About Tata Crucible

Tata Crucible - The Business Quiz' aims at identifying & encouraging the sharpest young minds in India to face the toughest business quiz in India. (Tata Crucible 2018 dates are given below). Tata Crucible Quiz began in the Year 2004. Tata Crucible Quiz will be held in 38 cities across India at different dates.

The Tata Crucible Quiz is a team based contest (2 participants per team) and is held in 2 tracks. The Corporate track which is a combined track for Tata Corporates and Non-Tata Corporates is followed by the National Finals. The second track is held for Campus students each year which is followed by a National Final and culminates into an International Final. Thirteen editions of Corporate Crucible and Twelve editions of Campus Crucible have been held so far.

Tata Crucible Eligibility Criteria

Details	Any two students of the same college / institution can form a team and participate. Any number of teams from a college / institution can participate in the quiz. Competition is open to full time students from all disciplines. Not-Eligible Individual Participation is not allowed The event is not open to junior college / foundation students lower than the undergraduate category.

Tata Crucible Reward

The following prize money will be given to the winners:

Regional Runners-Up Team	Cash Prize of Rs. 35,000

Special Prize: The National Final Winner Team will get all new BOLT from Tata Motors.

Special offer for National Finalists and Regional Winners

All National Finalists will be provided stay for the national final location and return travel as per organizer's rules, only from the city of victory in the regional round.
The regional winners (who will be the zonal finalists) will get the maximum of Return Second Class AC Fare. (by the shortest route), from the city of your participation and one night stay at the zonal final city.

The application process of Tata Crucible Quiz 2018 is started. Candidates can apply for the Tata Crucible Quiz 2018 Online only at the official website. There is NO ENTRY FEE to participate in the quiz contest. The direct link to the registration page is given on this page below. Team Composition

Any two bonafide full-time employees from the same organization can form a team and participate.
Teams can participate only from the city where the company they represent is located.
In case the city where the Institution is located the event is not being held then the closest city as per the geographic distance would be the location of participation
If there are many teams participating from the same Company where the event is not being held then they can participate from one location only
Teams will be allowed to participate only in the respective locations identified for the purposes of zonal finals. This means that once a team wins from a particular city, they will automatically be eligible for participation in that zone only.
Team composition cannot change once the prelim has been taken

On the day of the Quiz

Candidates are required to carry valid photo ID of the institution and produce the same on demand. Normal photo ids like PAN card, Voter Id, etc will not be accepted.
Candidates can take entry to the event if they have a valid invitation.

Tata Crucible Selection Process

Tata Crucible will be based on the following selection criteria:

PRELIMS: This is a written test for all contestants which is conducted at each regional round followed by the Regional Final on stage.
WILD CARD ROUND: Top 4 teams will be selected from the written Prelims for the Regional rounds based on scores.
- If there are a large number of teams, two more teams will be selected from one or two wild-card rounds.
- The rules for this will be explained by the quizmaster at each venue.
REGIONAL FINALS: Regional Finals will be held amongst Top 6 Teams who will then make it to the Finals held after the prelims at the same venue.
ZONAL FINALS: From every city, the Regional Winners within a particular zone will participate in the Zonal Finals.
- The Zonal Final will take place in a designated city under each zone.
