SOF IIT Bombay Techfest Innovation Challenge 2017 is conducted by SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) in partnership with Tech fest IIT Bombay. All the registered candidates for NSO are eligible for Innovation Challenge program. The students who have appeared for the SOF-NSO on 9 and 23 November 2017 will have to answer a question in the prescribed format and space. All the participating candidates will get a certificate of participation. After that, according to that answer, top 15 students will be selected. These students will visit IIT Bombay for the final round. The registration for the program has started from 15 November 2017. All the other dates related to the answer submission and exams are given in the table below:

Each student who participated in NSO (National Science Olympiad) and uploads his/ her answer in the Innovation Challenge will get a participation certificate. After the checking of these answers, top 15 students will be selected. These 15 students will be awarded as under:
The students who appeared in the SOF-National Science Olympiad (NSO) can participate in SOF- Tec fest Innovation Challenge (IC). To participate, the students have to register by following the link given below. The participants do not have to pay the extra fee to participate in the challenge.
They can follow the link and enter the details in every section of the form. The students are free to choose any category for this purpose such as environment, healthcare, technology, home appliances etc. However, the idea should be new and must be original.

The candidates after filling up all the details mentioned above need to click on proceed button. It is the prior responsibility of the candidates to check the information filled by them are correct in all aspect. The candidates after successful login have to submit their subjective answers.
SOF Techfest Innovation Challenge 2017 will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, students have to submit the solution of the problem statement which will be available in National Science Olympiad (NSO) examination paper conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation held on 9 & 23 November 2017
Here students also have to answer some fast track MCQ puzzles. After this round, top 15 students will be selected. These 15 students will be called for the final round on 29 December 2017 which will be held at IIT Bombay. The result of the final round will be declared on 30 Dec 2017 at IIT Bombay.
Note- The top 15 students selected for the final round will be permitted to have an adult accompany her/him to IIT Bombay. The exam conducting body will bear all the expenses for qualifying student and accompanying adult (up to Rs.2000 per person).
