RMO 2015 – Kerala Region

RMO Kerala exam dates and the last date to apply has been announced by CUSAT. Regional Mathematical Olympiad 2015 is the preliminary examination for Indian National Mathematical Examination (INMO) which further enables the student to participate in International Mathematical Examination (IMO) 2015.

Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO 2015) is an examination is for the students of class 10 & 11 and is conducted at a state level with the help of local educational bodies under the guidance of Regional Coordinator, INMO.

The RMO 2015 examination was conducted on December 06, 2015 at various centres located in the state of Kerala.

About RMO 2015 – Kerala Region

• The Registration for RMO 2015- Kerala Region will be by the means of Schools only as there is no prescribed application form to be filled.
• Schools should send the names and other details of the interested candidate to the Regional Coordinator of INMO before October 25, 2015.
• Test Centres: The Exam will be conducted in the centres located in the following regions.

RMO 2015 – Cochin Prize

• Cash Prize: Five toppers of RMO will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- each sponsored by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE).
• Participation in INMO: Top 30 candidates will be selected to compete in INMO 2015 on January 17, 2015 at the campus of Cochin University. There will be additional quota for 5 girl candidates.
• Five Toppers of RMO will be awarded 'Professor C.S.Venkataraman Memorial Prizes'.
• Five Toppers of RMO will be awarded ‘Professor Wazir Hasan Abdi Memorial Prizes’.

RMO 2015 – Cochin Region Application Process

• Application Form: There is no prescribed application form for the students to fill.
  • The candidates who are willing to apply for the Regional Mathematical Examination can contact the Principal of their respective schools.
  • The schools should forward a list of the candidates consisting details of names, class, residential address, phone numbers, e-mails and the center along with a registration fee of Rs. 50 each.
• Fee Payment: The payment is to be done by demand draft drawn in favour of 'Regional Coordinator, INMO' payable at 'SBT CUSAT' Campus branch only.

RMO 2015 – Cochin Region Selection Process

• The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the written examination which will be conducted on December 6, 2015.
• The Syllabus of Regional Mathematic Olympiad can be found on the website of Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education.
