Oil India National Level Essay Writing Competition 2018 is being conducted by Oil India Limited (OIL) to celebrate its 60th Anniversary. The essay writing competition application will begin on 15 August and end on 14 September 2018. is organising a national level essay writing competition. The Oil India essay writing competition is open for school and college students and prizes would be distributed on the 60th Year celebrations on 18 February 2019 at OIL’s Field Headquarters in Duliajan, Assam. The essay writing competition would be conducted in three languages that are English, Hindi and Assamese.
There is no registration fee for participation in Oil 60 years national essay competition and students pursuing school, college, undergraduate and postgraduate degree are eligible for Oil India national level essay writing competition 2018.
The essay must be written by aspirants and submitted online in PDF format. The winners of Oil India national level essay competition will be announced in January 2019. The first prize winners of Oil India national essay competition 2018 under each category and language will be invited for 60 years celebrations on 18 February 2019. The essays written by the eligible applicants must be submitted online on the website from 15 August 2018. The last date for online submission of essay is 14 September. It must be noted that there is no registration fee for participating in Oil 60 years’ national essay writing competition 2018-19. The winners of Oil India national essay competition 2018-19 will be announced in January 2019. A total of 18 essays will be selected for prize distribution and online publication from the above two categories and three languages. The names of national winners will be available on this page once released by the authority. Oil India national level essay writing competition 2018 first prize holder in each language and category will be invited to participate for the celebration of concluding ceremony of 60th years’ Oil India Limited on 18 February 2019 at OIL’s Field Headquarters in Duliajan, Assam. OIL also reserves the copyright of the submitted essays and is free to publish and edit the essay on its own discretion. The decision of the OIL in deciding the winners will be final and no query and correspondence regarding the same will be accepted.
Assesment of the essay: All the essays received within the due date will be screened and evaluated by the committee constituted by OIL and then by the jury appointed by OIL. The assessment of essays will be done on the basis of originality of ideas, clarity of the content, sequence of presentation and creative writing skills.
