• Odisha state Level Photographic competition is for the photographers of all nationalities on the Ocassion of World Toursim Day to be celebrated on September 27, 2015. The photographs have to be related to tourism and community development in India.
• Odisha state Level Photographic competition is being organized by the Department of Tourism. Govt. of Odisha in association with IITTM Bhubaneshwar (Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management)
• Last date to apply is September 12, 2015
• The winners will be awarded at a State level competition which will be conducted on World Tourism Day i.e. September 27, 2015
• THEME: One Billion Tourists One Billion Opportunities

To participate in the competition candidates can submit upto 4 images based on Tourism and Community Development in India. Candidates also have to flll in the Form.

Specifications of the images

• Size: Minimum: 10” X 12” and Maximum: 12” X "15”
• Format: JPEG
• Resolution: 300 dpi
• Both colour and black and white images are acceptable
• Both landscape and portrait forms are acceptable

Important points

• HDR Images, digitally manipulated images beyond cropping. Sharpening, simple level and colour correction are not acceptable
• Posters are not accepted
• Images that have already won the 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize in any national level competition are not eligible
• Each participant cannot submit more than 4 photographs

Submission

• The images in Print as well as in a CD along with the application form are to be sent to the below mentioned address before September 12, 2015 by simple or registered post.
• All entries should contain the name of the photographer, address, contact number along with the place and year the photo was taken.
• In brief you have to also write about the subject. The same information has to be submitted in a separate sheet of paper.

• Images will be selected by the team of experts duly appointed by the organizing body.
• The experts will select the photographs on the basis of:
  • Originality
  • Overall impact
  • Composition
  • Technique
  • Difficulty
• The decision of the judges will be final and abiding
