Odisha State Level Painting Competition 2015

• Odisha state Level Painting competition is for the school children of Class 1-10 in two groups: Junior Class 1 to 5 and Senior Class 6 to 10.
• Odisha state Level Painting competition is being organized by the Department of Tourism. Govt. of Odisha in association with IITTM Bhubaneshwar
• Last date to apply is September 12, 2015. The competition will be organized on September 20, 2015 at IITTM Campus, Dumuduma, Bhubaneswar and it will be a 2 hours on the spot painting competition.
• The winners will be awarded at a State level competition which will be conducted on World Tourism Day i.e. September 27, 2015.
• THEME: One Billion Tourists One Billion Opportunities

• Candidates can participate via their schools only. School Students from Class 1 to 5 for Junior Group and Class 6 to 10 for Senior Groups
• Applications have to be forwarded by the schools. Click here for the Application form

What all need to be done on September 20

• Candidates have to compulsorily carry their Identity Cards
• The drawing sheets will be provided by the organizer
• Candidates have to carry their necessary equipment’s and colors
• Candidates have to mention their name and serial number on the back side of the painting
• Candidates have to write either punch line or slogan on the painting

Venue of the competition: IITTM Campus, Dumuduma, Bhubaneswar

Duration of the competition: 2 hours

Odisha state Level Painting competition Selection Process

• Images will be selected by the team of experts duly appointed by the organizing body.
• The experts will select the photographs on the basis of:
  • Originality
  • Overall impact
  • Composition
  • Technique
  • Difficulty
• The decision of the judges will be final and abiding
