Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC candidates is a centrally sponsored scheme and is implemented by the State Govt./UTs. The students who belong to OBC Category as notified by the Central/ State Government are eligible for the Scholarship scheme which is sponsored by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The scholarship amount is paid from the date of joining to the date of leaving the school, excluding the period of vacation is 10 months. The Scholarship amount will be credited to the Students' Personal Bank account. The Government would divide the scholarship amount to be paid to the scholars.
The OBC Scholarship is given to the candidates belonging to the OBC Category as notified by the Central/ State Government. The scholarship amount is divided from Class 1 to 10 and the amount of scholarship is different as according to the classes.

The candidates will have to download the OBC Prematric Scholarship Application Form from the official website and then they have to fill the form by providing correct details in the required section of the application form. The candidates should know that the individually submitted application form will not be accepted.

The application process for this scholarship is started but due to some technical reason application link is not working. The candidates are suggested to keep themselves updated on the website of motaChashma. The last date to apply has been extended to 10 April 2018.
Along with the application form, the candidates have to send the enclosure of the relevant documents. The list of the documents which need to be enclosed with the application form is given below.
While sending the application form, the principals should make sure to write Name of the Scheme and year on the Forwarding Letter.
