About National Finance Olympiad
- National Finance Olympiad 2016 is being organized by International Institute of Financial Markets and sponsored by Economic Times.
- The aim of the Finance Olympiad is to make young learners familiar with the need and the art of managing money, which is a requisite for everyone.
- The NFO 2016 is open for all students from class 8 to 12 for all streams i.e. Science, Commerce & Arts.
- The candidates can participate individually or through their schools.
- The application fee of National Finance Olympiad is Rs. 850, which will get the students

- Academic Qualification: The students from class 8 to 12 can participate in the National Finance Olympiad in any of the two levels:
- Level 1- Gold@13: Students from class 8,9,10 will compete in this group.
- Level 2- Gold @15: Students from class11and 12 will participate in this group.
- Students from Science stream can also participate in the Finance Olympiad.
- Level 3- Gold@18: University students between the age group of 17-22 year Classroom Training

National Finance Olympiad Reward
The winners of the National Finance Olympiad will be rewarded with cash prize along with other mementos. The details are as follow:

Benefits for Students:
- Winners: A team of 4 members from a school will get cash prize worth Rs. 1,00,000 along with winning trophy, certificates and mementoes.
- First Runner Up: The 4 member team securing the place will be rewarded with cash prize of Rs. 40,000 along with certificates and mementoes.
- Second Runner Up: A 4 member team from a school will get cash prize or Rs. 20,000 in addition to certificates and mementoes.

Benefits for School:
- The school with maximum participants will get the title of ‘Finance Gurukul’ along with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000.
- Letter or Appreciation: The Principal of the School & Coordinator will receive Letter of Appreciation from National Finance Olympiad Association.
- Other Grants: Schools will get a certain amount to cope up with the expenses on Administrative activities and additional fee for undertaking the test invigilation.
National Finance Olympiad Application form and Process
Students can participate in the National Finance Olympiad 2016 either as an individual or via school. The details of the application process are as follow:
- Individual Participation: The candidates willing to participate their own or students from those schools who are not willing to affiliate with NFO can register using the following process:
- Application Form: The applications for NFO can be made online as well as offline.
- Participation through School: The schools can apply for affiliation from NFO. Once the affiliation process is complete, interested students can fill the application form available at their school and deposit the same with the Application fee.
- The books and study material will be sent to the school for all registered students.
- Application Fee: The participants are required to pay a participation fee of Rs. 850 to be a part of the National Finance Olympiad. The fee can be paid through the following methods:
- By Individual Students: Individual participants can submit their fee using Credit/Debit Card or Net banking for online payment or the payment can be made via cash at the office atbelow-mentioned address:

- For Schools: Schools are required to make payment of the fee via Demand Draft, drawn in favor of ‘International Institute of Financial Markets Ltd’ payable at New Delhi.

National Finance Olympiad Selection Process
The selection of the winners will include 3 stages and the details of the complete selection process are as follow:
- School Olympiad Round: All the students registered for NFO 2016 will appear in School Level Olympiad examination in August-October 2016. Individual applicants may be assigned to affiliated school near them.
- Regional Round: On the basis of the performance in previous stage, selected candidates will compete in Regional round which will be organized in November-December 2016.
- National Grand Finale: Top performer teams from all over the country will participate in quiz format at New Delhi at January 2017.
