  • Municipal Corporation of Faridabad is organizing Essay Writing & Painting Competition for Smart City Faridabad in order to come up with ideas for Smart City Faridabad.
  • The theme of the Essay Writing and Painting competition is My Smart Faridabad while the sub-themes are:

    • Slum free Faridabad
    • Inclusive Faridabad
    • Livable Faridabad
    • Smooth Movement across Faridabad

    • Safe Faridabad

  • Specification of the painting: The graffiti/ painting/ poster should be made on an A3 size paper having dimensions 297 mm x 420 mm or 11.7 inch x 16.5 inch.
  • Candidates should mention their Name, Address & contact number on the top of the essay and painting. The selection of the winner will be done by Municipal Corporation of Faridabad on the basis of creative ideas offered in the essay/painting.
  • Winners: The prize of the winner of painting competion will be different from that of essay competition. Cash prizes will be offered to 6 essays i.e. 3 from each category. The amount of cash prize are as follow:
    • For Open for All category:
      • First Prize: Rs. 25,000
      • Second Prize: Rs. 15,000
      • Third Prize: Rs. 10,000
    • For School Students
      • First Prize: Rs. 5,000
      • Second Prize: Rs. 3,000
      • Third Prize: Rs. 2,000.
  • Submission of Entries: The entries can be submitted wither using the MyGov website or can be submitted to the Head of the Institution, who will further submit them to the District Education Officer.
  • The last date to submit entries for the Essay Writing Competition for Smart City Faridabad is October 10, 2015.
