Delhi Merit Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students - Department for the welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minorities invites applications from deserving candidates for Merit Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Minority students. Students from class 1 to 12 are eligible to make applications for the scholarship and the selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of the merit list. The candidates selected for the Delhi Merit Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students will get a scholarship based on the class in which they are studying and on the basis of the marks obtained by them in their previous class. The candidates of Minority communities are eligible for the given scholarships 2018-19. The candidates of Minority communities are eligible for the given scholarships 2018-19:
For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Minority categories, the scholarship will be offered from class 1 but for candidates belonging to OBC category, the scholarship will be offered to students from class 6 onwards. The application process is completely offline and the students need to deposit their application forms to the Principal of their respective schools.

The amount of scholarship being offered to a candidate depends upon the category to which the candidate belongs and also with the percentage of mark secured by the candidate in the previous class. So the details related to the scholarship amount are being shown by the help of the table:

The application process for the Delhi Merit Scholarship for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority has started. It is to be noticed by the candidates that the process of filling and submitting the application form is entirely online. The candidates cannot fill the form through offline mode as there is no such procedure. The last date to apply for the Delhi Merit Scholarship for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority has been extended to 10 April 2018. Therefore, the candidates are suggested to fill the form on or before the due date.

Submission of Application
The candidates while filling the application form should ensure that the details filled by them are correct in all aspect. The enclosing of documents is important. The filled in application form has to be submitted through online only. The candidates after submission of the application form are suggested to keep the printout of the application form with them for future reference.
