Lok Sabha Research Fellowship 2019 is a two-year program conducted by Lok Sabha Secretariat, Parliament of India. The Lok Sabha Secretariat will grant twenty-five Research Fellowships every year, on any subject having relevance or connection with the Parliament or Parliamentary democracy. The Lok Sabha Research Fellowship allowance will be a maximum of Rs. 10 Lacs plus Rs. 50,000 as contingency allowance will be awarded to the selected candidates. Students from any discipline related to parliamentary studies with high academic records or experts in his /her domain are eligible to apply. This is the Lok Sabha fellowship for writing books. The book can be on any subject having relevance or connection with the Parliament or Parliamentary democracy. The last date for submitting the application form is extended from 10 January to 31 January 2019.

Step for filling Lok Sabha Research Fellowship Application Form
STEP 1: Download the application form and read the term and conditions before applying for the fellowship.
STEP 2: Applicants have to send in their particulars in the prescribed format (Annexure) which is to be duly filled-in, along with a Synopsis of 1000 words of his/her proposal.
STEP 3: Fellowship Committee shall consider and recommend the names to the Hon'ble Speaker, Lok Sabha, for the grant of Lok Sabha Fellowships. The decision of the committee would be considered final.

Candidates have to submit their Lok Sabha Research Fellowship proposal in the prescribed format only.
The selection for the grant of Research Fellowships will be made by a Fellowship Committee and the decision of the Hon'ble Speaker, Lok Sabha, will be final in all matters relating to the Fellowships.
