JSTSE is Junior Science Talent Search Examination and is a science talent search exam for students of Class 9 studying in Delhi. JSTSE is conducted by Science Branch of Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi. Students enrolled in class 9 in any of the recognized schools in Govt. /Govt. aided/ NDMC/Public/KV/Navodaya/unrecognised private schools of Delhi are eligible to take part in the Junior Science Talent Search Examination 2019.
JSTSE 2019 Exam Date: The exam was conducted on 15 December 2019 and the students would be tested on their knowledge & skills in General Knowledge, General Science & Mathematics. JSTSE is organized at the state level and total of 150 scholarships are offered to the shortlisted candidates. Students from states other than Delhi are not eligible for JSTSE Scholarship Exam

In the notification that is released by the Science branch office of Govt. of Delhi, the JSTSE scholarship amount is not mentioned. The notification only states the number of scholarships and not the scholarship amount. As per one of the toppers, the prize consisted of a certificate stating the rank and a cheque of Rs. 2000.

Students can apply for the JSTSE 2019-20 through their respective schools. There is no individual application procedure. The application of JSTSE is open for around 10 days. No Examination Fee will be charged to the applicant and the application form has to be sent in triplicate to the exam conducting authority.

JSTSE Admission form will be the JSTSE Admit Card of the candidate. The roll numbers of candidates was issued by the respective school of the candidate from 3 to 11 December 2019. Applicants have to bring in the JTSE Admit card (signed by the Principal) to the examination hall on the date of exam. Roll number was allotted to the students by Science Branch and were sent to the schools by post.
The Roll Number for JSTSE Exam has to be collected by the head of schools (HOS). The students should contact the HOS for their roll number for JSTSE
Candidates will be selected based on marks secured in the examination for Junior Science Talent Scholarship Exam 2019. The details about JSTSE scholarship exam is as follows
The candidates have to mark the answer in the JSTSE OMR sheet as per the instructions of the exam. The candidates who are appearing for JSTSE exam must carry BLUE/BLACK Ball Point Pen for marking the OMR Answer Sheets.
School Stamp on the answer sheet: The candidates must ensure that the stamp of their school has been put on every answer sheet and all other Performa before sending them to Science Branch through the observer.

The JSTSE Syllabus for 2019 consists of content from class 8 and class 9. The JSTSE Syllabus includes the following subjects

Candidates are advised to strictly follow JSTSE Syllabus and make sure that no topics are left uncovered.
The Science Branch of Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi releases the JSTSE Answer Key before the announcement of result. The JSTSE Answer Key is released in two formats which include the provisional answer key and the final answer key. Out of the three, it is the final answer key that is the most reliable one. The other two answer keys are also helpful and can be used to estimate the score of a candidate. All the mentioned answer keys are released in February and March. The link to download answer key of JSTSE will be available on this page as soon as it is released.
To score good marks in JSTSE, candidates are advised to prepare for the exam with the help of JSTSE Sample Paper. The sample paper for JSTSE is released in the form of a PDF by the Science Branch of Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi. Candidates can download the PDF and practice for JSTSE exam.
Solving the sample papers gives the candidate confidence as he/she becomes more familiar with the pattern of the exam as well as it helps in increasing the speed of attempting the question.
JSTSE Result 2019 will be published in May 2019 for the exam to be conducted on 20 January 2019. The JSTSE Result shall contain the candidate's Roll number, marks obtained in General Knowledge, marks obtained in Science and Mathematics and the total marks obtained. The JSTSE Result is published only for those candidates who are selected for receiving the scholarship. The candidates who are not selected have to send an email with the roll number at sciencebranch@gmail.com and the result shall be sent to the candidate.

Question 1: What is the registration fee for JSTSE Exam?
The registration for JSTSE Exam is free, no amount is to be paid to participate in JSTSE Exam.
Question 2: How many students will receive JSTSE Scholarship?
Approximately 150 students will receive the JSTSE Scholarship. In the year 2017-18, 154 scholarships were distributed.
Question 3: Where can one check the result of the JSTSE Exam?
The result for JSTSE exam will be published on the official website i.e. edudel.nic.in, the result will include the name of only those 150 students who will be receiving the scholarship. For all the other students who want to know their result, they will have to send an email with their roll number at sciencebranch@gmail.com
