iPhone Photography Awards 2018

iPhone photography awards have commemorated the creativity of the iPhone users throughout the world Since 2007. The use of any iPhone/iPad App is permissible in the iPhone photography Competition. The best shots are selected from the thousands of entries that are submitted from more than 70 countries across the globe. 

The IPPAWARDS is not affiliated with Apple Inc.

There are 18 categories in which the photos can be categorised as follows:

iPhone Photography Awards 2018 last date to submit the Photograph is in the last week of March 2018.

The winners will be announced within 8 to 12 weeks after the final submission deadline. 

iPhone is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

The winner of the IPPA Photography Award gets the prestigious IPPA photographers of the year title.

• Top Prizes: - All entries compete for the prestigious IPPA Photographer of the Year Award title, and the top 3 winners will receive a prize to be announced later.
• 18 gold bars: - The first place winner from all the 18 categories will win a gold bar from the recognisable private gold mint in the world.
• 18 Palladium Bars: The 2nd and 3rd place winners of the 18 categories will win a Palladium Bar from the most recognisable private gold mint in the world.
• The work of the top winners and 1^st, 2^nd, 3rd from each category will be publicised on IPPAWARDS online gallery and other materials.
• Certificates:- 1st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners of all categories will receive an IPPAWARDS certificate.
• Honourable mentions:- IPPAWARDS judges will award several Honorable Mention to entries to acknowledge talent as they deem fit.

Photos have to be uploaded  on the website which includes following simple steps

Step 1: How to participate: Candidates are required to select the number of the entries in the “Enter” page. Candidates can upload their photos after the order has been placed.

Step 2: Category: If the candidate is not sure about the category to enter their photos they can select “Others”

• Candidates can enter each photograph in up to 2 categories

Step 3: Upload the photo

• No Limit: There are no limits on a number of entries you can submit.
• File Name: The photos to be uploaded should be named as FirstnameLastname01-category.jpg, FirstnameLastname02-category.jpg.
• File Format:  The file should be in JPG, JPEG file format.
• File Size: The candidates have to submit the entry in the original size, not smaller than 1000x1000 pixels (width and height).Maximum file size for each image should be 3MB.

There is a nominal fee for submitting the photos. Fees depend on the no of photos uploaded. Fees for submission of photos is:

• 1 IMAGE - $3.50
• 3 IMAGES - $7.50
• 5 IMAGES - $15.50
• 10 IMAGES - $27.50
• 15 IMAGES - $35.50
• 20 IMAGES - $50.00
• 25 IMAGES - $57.50

Kindly Note: There are no limits on the number of entries. However, it is strongly recommended that the candidates submit only the best ones

Submission of Entries

Confirmation Mail: Candidates will receive a confirmation email. After which they can check the status of their entered photos in their account dashboard.

Re-Submission: Re-submission of already submitted photos is strictly prohibited.

Return of the Entries

• Entries will not be returned.
• Only winning entries will be kept on file for promotional purposes.
• IPPAWARDS shall not be held responsible for any damaged or lost submissions.

Before being titled ‘THE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR’ the contestants have to go through a multi-step selection procedure. The winners are to be selected by the members of the jury on the basis of artistic merit, originality, subject and style of the photos sent by the participants.

iPhone Photography Awards Result 2018

The list of the winners will be announced online eight to twelve weeks after the final submission deadline that is tentatively in the month of June 2018.
