University of Colombia Undergraduate Scholarship 2016

• International Leaders of Tomorrow Awards are being offered by the University of Columbia to Undergraduate students who need financial assistance to get their first undergraduate degree from the University of Columbia.
• Eligibility: The candidate should have cleared secondary school examination, possess excellent academic record and should also demonstrate financial need to complete their Degree from UCB.
• Benefit: The scholarship amount will be decided on the basis of the expenses occurring on the education of the student and contribution made by the applicant’s family.
• Application: In addition to making an online application for the scholarship and offline nomination letter from the candidate’s school is also required.
  • The nomination form and other required documents are to be sent in a sealed, school envelope and should be post marked by December 01, 2015.

International Leader of Tomorrow Awards Benefit

• Scholarship Amount: The eligible candidates will get the scholarship in proportion to their financial need determined by adding up the tuition, fee, living costs and then subtracting the annual financial contribution made by the candidate and his/her family.
• Duration: The scholarship will be renewed for up to three additional years of undergraduate study, or to degree completion, provided that the student maintains a satisfactory academic performance, maintains his/her student visa status and demonstrates financial need.

International Leader of Tomorrow Awards Application Process

The candidates are required to make the online application for the scholarship while the institutes from where they have cleared their qualifying examinations are required to nominate them. The details of the application process are as follow:

• Online Application: The candidates are required to make the online application for the scholarship by registering themselves on the university website.
• Nomination Form: Candidate and Institute are required to complete the nomination form. There are 2 different forms available for Vancouver and Okanagan.
• Filling the Nomination Form: The nomination form has been divided into 3 sections; Section 1 & 3 are to be filled by the candidate while Section 2 is to be filled by the Institute.
  • Section 1-Personal Information: Applicants are required to provide their personal information in this section including the course preferred by them,2 essays and details of extra-curricular activities and other achievements.
  • Section 2- The School: The school authorities are required to fill in the information asked in the form and provide 2 references.
  • Section 3- Financial Information: The candidates are required to fill in their financial information in the section and give information about the projected contribution applicant’s family will be making to his/her studies.
• Submission: The nomination form is to be sent in sealed, school envelope and should have the nomination form, academic transcript and other supporting documents.
