Indian Engineering Olympiad (IEO) 2019 is a National Level Exam that offers a real test of engineering skills for the students in various fields of engineering on a national platform. Indian Engineering Olympiad 2019 is organised by Think cell Learning Solutions Pvt. The Olympiad was started in the year 2016, and it was the first of its kind exam conducted across 104 centres in India. This year the exam will be conducted in 2 stages, stage 1 of the exam will test the engineering and general aptitude of the candidate and stage 2 of the exam will test the technical knowledge in their respective streams.
Students pursuing first, second, third or the fourth year of engineering from any recognised college are eligible for Indian Engineering Olympiad (IEO 2019).
Nearly 1,52,000 students participated in the second edition. Close to 1,80,000 students expected to participate in the third edition. Students from the best engineering colleges across the country participate in the Olympiad.

Indian Engineering Olympiad 2019 Application Process is to be done through online mode only. The online registration process is now started and the applicants can submit the online application form until 17 February 2019. The candidates who want to participate in this competition must visit the official website of IEO or click the following link to apply:

The candidates want to apply for Indian Engineering Olympiad 2019 have to follow the steps mentioned below:
After making the payment there is no need to send the application form hard copy. The candidates can take a print out of the filled in application form for their future reference.
For Bulk registration - Colleges have to send a requesting mail to coordinator@engineeringolympiad.in for bulk registration details and one of the coordinators will look into their request.
For stage 1 of the IEO 2019 engineering olympiad, the candidates will not be issued any hall ticket as the exam can be taken from anywhere across India. The candidates will be sent the login details for the online exam latest by 20 February 2019.
The e-Hall Tickets will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID for stage 2 of the exam. The IEO 2019 admit card will be issued after the registration for stage 2 exam is completed. If the candidate did not receive the hall ticket then they must send an email with their registration details to info@engineeringolympiad.in so the IEO team can help them.
The selection of the candidate is based on the three-stage selection process.

Stage 1 examination will be held on 23 and 24 February 2019 in online mode and the students can take the exam from anywhere. No exam centres will be allotted but the candidates will be issued the hall ticket. The stage 1 exam will measure engineering and general aptitude of the student.
Stage 2: This will be conducted after the IEO 2019 stage 1 result is announced. Only students who qualify stage 1 exam are eligible for stage 2 exam. This will be Branch wise paper-based exam to test Technical knowledge and Problem-solving skills.
Stage 3: It will be an interview round with a panel of experts.

The question paper (all categories) will consist of 50 multiple choice questions across 2 sections to be answered in 90 mins. Answers are to be marked on an OMR sheet. Students can download past papers along with answer key from the IEO website.
