About Gyan Lab Kidovators Olympiad
Gyan Lab Kidovators Olympiad 2017 - The Erehwon Challenge is a competition organised for school students to test their aptitude. Going over 11,000 schools in India, the competition is conducted in such a manner that testifies the students mentally and physically as well. last year, Gyan Lab Kidovators Olympiad - The Erehwon Challenge was presented by State Bank of India and National Payments Corporation and more than 31,000 students from 106 cities participated in it.
Theme- India’s Biggest Creativity Olympiad
Gyan Lab Kidovators Olympiad 2017 is the 5th edition of the competition. Kidovators 2017 is ‘India’s Biggest Creative Thinking Olympiad’ with the ambition of building an ecosystem that enables over a million students to perform at their creative best over the next decade in order to make them a successful human resource that fuels India’s national growth.
The competition is conducted by will be organised in the following rounds.
- Round 1 will be Written Aptitude test which will be held in the school premises itself.
- Regional Final: Top 600 - 900 students from Round 1 comprising of Regional & School toppers will participate in Regional Finals across 4 - 5 locations. In the Regional Finals, students will have to complete a series of Creativity-based tasks.
- Grand Finale: Top 150 students from across all Regional Finals will be invited to Bangalore to compete in the Grand Finale. The Grand Finale will consist of sets of individual and group tasks. The Final winners will be declared from the total scores here.

- The Gyan Lab Kidovators Olympiad 2017 competition is open to all the schools affiliated to CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE and state boards.
- A school participating in the competition must have a minimum of 50 students enrolled for Round 1 participation.

Gyan Lab Kidovators Olympiad Application form and Process
The student can participate only through school in Gyan Lab Kidovators Olympiad 2017, There will be no individual participation.
Application Process
Finalising the date for Round 1 of Gyan Lab Kidovators Olympiad 2017
- The first round will be held either Last week of October or first week of November 2017. The school can choose either of the two dates.The school needs to send the e-mail for the confirmation of the dates
Participation Fees for Gyan Lab Kidovators Olympiad 2017
- The competition will require a student to pay a fee of Rs. 575.
- The Gyan Lab Team will pay to school an additional 5% of the fees in case the fee is paid before 31 July 2017, OR where the participation of students in Round 1 exceeds 250 students.
- The school will have to pay the full participation fees (Rs. 250 per student) to Gyan Educational services and they would receive the refund later on as applicable for Early Bird Offer/ Bulk Participation offer
- Send the school registration form, student registration form and the DD by speed post/courier to ‘Kidovators 2017, #172, Sector – 4, HSR Layout, Bangalore - 560102’
- The school also have to send in the e-mail to kidovators@addongyan.com mentioning the date of speed post/ courier.
- The Gyan Lab Team should receive the filled in Registration Forms & Fees latest by 22 September 2017.
Gyan Lab Kidovators Olympiad Selection Process
The Gyan Lab Kidovators Olympiad 2017 competition will consist of two rounds.
Round 1- Last week of October or first week of November 2017
- For: Students of Classes 4 - 9
- Type of Test: Hour-long Written Test comprising of Creativity-based questions that students will write in their respective school
- Time Duration: 60 Minutes
- Medium of Test: English only
- Suitable for: Students studying in CBSE, ICSE, State Board, CIE, IGCSE & IB Schools
