• The Essay Writing Competition is being organized in the name of reverent father of Mr. K.T.S Tulsi, the renowned senior advocate of Supreme court of India.
• There is no entry fee for the Essay Writing Competition.

Specifications of the Essay

• Word Limit- 4000-5000 words (excluding footnotes)
• The citation must be strictly in accordance with the Harvard Blue Book style, 19th Edition
• Font Type:  Times New Roman font
• Line Spacing: 1.5 lines spacing
• Font Size: size 12: Footnoting size should be 10
• The essay must be preceded by an Abstract not exceeding 300-350 word
• Authorship: Authorship to the maximum of two is allowed.
• Only one entry is allowed per student

Submission of the Essay

• Submissions should be in MS Word-2013/2007 format along with the PDF format of the same.
• The submission must contain a covering letter containing details of the participant such as Name, Date of Birth, Permanent/Residential Address, Telephone Number, Email, Name and Address of College/University, Course and Academic Year

Soft Copy Submission: Candidates have to send their entries to gst.essay@hnlu.ac.in with the subject of the email as “4th G.S.T Tulsi National Legal Essay Writing Competition” on or before October 31, 2015.

Hard Copy Submission: Candidates have to send their entries to the below mentioned address on or before November 2, 2015

JURY PANEL

The Jury shall comprise of independent experts, legal luminaries, professionals in the field of law including Mr. K.T. S. Tulsi, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India.

Notification to the Winners

Results will be declared on the University's website and the winners will also be intimated through the contact details submitted by them.
