Facebook Emerging Scholar Program 2017 is a part of Facebook’s on-going commitment to identifying promising PhD students and supporting them in their research throughout their careers. Facebook Emerging Scholar Program 2017 is only for first or second year PhD students who are members of a minority group that is underrepresented in the technology sector.
Facebook Emerging Scholar Award Program is open to students at universities in the US and abroad who are enrolled during the current academic year and studying any one or an area related to the following subjects:
This program is designed to specifically support talented students from underrepresented minority groups and encourage them to continue their PhD studies, and pursue innovative research, and engage them with the broader research community.

Facebook Fellowship Program 2017-18 is offered for a period of 2 years and the candidates selected for the scholarship will be entitled to the following benefits:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the strength of candidates proposed research and the recommendation letters of their research work. The candidates will be selected by a panel of Judges which will be selected by Facebook.
