Logo Design Competition for EDB, Andhra Pradesh

• On its pursuit to be amongst the top three states in terms of per capita income, Andhra Pradesh invites Indian Nationals to create a logo for the Economic Development Board (EDB).
• The EDB Andhra Pradesh Logo Design Competition is open for all Indian citizens, teams and organization working in any part of the world.
• The entries need to be submitted by the means of ‘MyGov’ platform and the winners will be awarded with Rs 50,000 along with Certificate of Appreciation.
• The entries for the Logo Design Competition will be accepted till July 25, 2015 and the result of the competition will be announced on August 10, 2015.

Logo Design Competition for EDB, Andhra Pradesh Rewards

The winners of the Logo Design Competition for EDB, Andhra Pradesh will be given the following prizes:

• First Prize: The winner of the first prize will be awarded with a Certificate of Appreciation along with a Cash prize of Rs.50,000.
• Second & Third Prizes: The winner of Second and Third Prizes will be awarded with Certificate of Appreciation.

Logo Design Competition Application Process

The Applications for the Logo Design competition will be accepted only by the means of the ‘MyGov’ platform, no other mode of submission will be treated as valid. The details of the application process are as follow:

• Mode of Participation: The Applications are to be submitted by the means of creative corner section of ‘MyGov’ portal.
• Number of Entries: A participant can submit multiple number of entries for the competition.
• MyGov Profile: The Candidates should make sure that they keep their MyGov profile complete and accurate as Government of Andhra Pradesh will communicate with the contestants by the mean of the same platform.
• Specifications of the LOGO:
  • The logo may include words, ‘Economic Development Board’ or ‘EDB’ along with graphical representations deemed fit for the design of the logo.
  • The Logo can be Polychromatic or Monochromatic.
  • The logo need to be legible and polished as the same will be featured on digital media, social media platform and official government stationery.
  • The logo design should not be imprinted or water marked.

Submission of the Entries

The entries being submitted need to be in accordance with the following guidelines:

• Image of Logo: The image of Logo in its original file format and 2 images in .jpeg format having size 75 cms x 75 Cms and 3 Cms x 3 Cms.
• In case of polychromatic logo, a monochromatic version of the logo in original file format is to be sent along with the submission.
• An inverse image of the monochromatic version of the logo in the original file format is to be attached with the submission.
• The submission should be accompanied by a pdf document explaining the detailed concept notes related to the logo.
• The original Design File along with the above mentioned documents is to be submitted with the following specifications:
  • Format: .pdf or .jpeg
  • Resolution: 300 dpi
  • Size: 640 pixels x 480 pixels
  • Format of original vector file: CMYK format

The selection of the winners will be done on the basis of the below mentioned criteria:

  • Artistic merit
  • Visual impact
  • How well they communicate the mandate and purpose of EDB to all stakeholders.
• Result: The result of the competition will be declared on August 10, 2015.
