DTE Chhattisgarh Scholarship 2016- 17

DTE Chhattisgarh scholarship has come under Directorate of Technical Education, Chhattisgarh for Chhattisgarh Domicile Students who are studying Engineering in recognised Engineering Colleges located outside Chhattisgarh State for session 2016-17. The applications are open for Fresh scholarships in the First year and for Vacant seats of the Second, Third and Fourth Year. Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship on or before October 30, 2016. 

The Scholarship will be given to students studying

• IITs
• NITs
• IISc Bangalore
• Higher Technical Education Institutes approved by AICTE

The applicant should secure a minimum 60% marks in their Class 12 examination. Selected students will get Rs. 2000 per month as Scholarship.

Directorate of technical education, Chhattisgarh will provide all the selected candidates' Rs. 2000 per month as Scholarship to pursue their Engineering (B.E/ B. Tech.).

DTE Chattisgarh Scholarship Renewal

The candidates who are availing DTE Chhattisgarh scholarship earlier also have to apply for renewal of this Scholarship by the same deadline i.e. October 30, 2016. Such candidates have to submit Scholarship renewal application along with last year's mark sheet duly attested by Head of the Institute. 

Candidates can complete the application process by offline mode only. Candidates can get the application form from the office of Directorate of Technical Education, The candidates can also download the application form from the given link or from the official website of Directorate of technical education.

There is no any application fee for applying for DTE Chhattisgarh Scholarship. Here are four steps to be followed to fill the DTE Chattisgarh application Form: 

STEP 1: Fill the required details in the application form such as Candidate's Name, Date of Birth, Bank Account Number, Adhar Number, Permanent address and Academic details of the applicant. 

• Specify the name of the Institute from where the candidate is pursuing engineering course during 2016-17.

STEP 2: Specify if the  candidate is in receipt of any other scholarship. 

STEP 3: The candidate has to specify whether the application is for first, second, third or the fourth year.  

STEP 4: Get the declaration signed by the Head of the Institute.

Submission of the Application Form

The duly filled application form along with the required documents must be forwarded by the head of College/ Institute. The candidate will have to send the application form to the following address

The candidates have to attach following attested copy of enclosure with application form:

• All mark sheet of all Board/ University examination beginning from  Class 12.
• Domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh State issued by competent authority.
• The letter of approval of Institute/ course from AICTE if the candidate is studying in private institution.
• Certificate by the head of the Institution.

Incomplete application or application which is not in the prescribed form or received after prescribed date shall not be considered.
