CMS Vatavaran Poster Competition  2015 on Water for Life

• CMS Vatavaran Poster Competition is open for all Fine Arts, Design and Visual arts students who are between 18-28 years of age.
• CMS Vatavaran Poster Competition is free for participation as there is no application fee and the winners will get cash prize worth Rs. 10,000.
• The poster needs to be based on the theme of ‘We Are Water’ where the participants should explain fundamental concept, that water makes up every life form on Planet Earth and how we have the responsibility to ensure a healthy, secure and sustainable water supply for our people.
• CMS VATAVARAN Environment and Wildlife Film Festival and Forum focus on problems in water management systems around the world and show the disturbing effects these choices have on human beings
• The organizers expect the participants to come up with unique design concept that goes beyond stereotypes to explain Water as a life source and how we have the responsibility to ensure a healthy, secure and sustainable water supply for our people.
• The last date to apply for the contest is August 30, 2015 and the result of the same will be announced on September 10, 2015.

CMS Vatavaran Poster Competition Rewards

Three winners will be awarded with cash prize along with certificate of appreciation. The details of the rewards are as follow:

• First Prize: The winner of the first prize will be given a cash prize of Rs.5000 along with Certificate of Appreciation.
• Second Prize: Thesecond prizewinner will get cash prize worth Rs.3000 and Certificate of Appreciation.
• Third Prize: Third Prize winner will get cash prize of Rs.2000 and Certificate of Appreciation.

Usages of the Poster: The winning poster will be used as one of the Collaterals of the 8^th CMS Vatavarana with due credits to the winning artist.

Mentions: The photo and profile of the winner will be published in the Festival Directory of 2015.

CMS Vatavaran Poster Competition Application Process

The applications for the competition are to be made online, the poster along with required information is to be mailed. The details of the application process are as follow:

• Mode of Application/Submission: The poster is to be mailed to ‘preeti@cmsindia.org’ along with other required information.
• Number of Entries: Each applicant is allowed to submit only single entry.
• Specifications of the Poster: For the poster to be eligible for the competition it needs to be according to the following specifications:
  • Theme: The poster needs to be based on the theme ‘We Are Water’.
  • Dimensions & Medium: The poster can be of any size and any medium can be used for making the poster.
  • Size: Theimage to be submitted needs to be smaller than 5 Mb.
• Details to be mentioned: Thefollowing details are to be mentioned while sending the mail:
  • Name of the Contestant
  • Contact number
  • Email
  • Concept of design within 100 words.
