CBSE announces Essay Competition from January 21-28, 2015 in memory of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Lala Lajpat Rai (famously known as Punjab Kesari) who gave up their life in India’s struggle for freedom.
Netaji was born on January 23 while Lalaji’s birthday is celebrated on January 28. In commemoration of the two leaders, CBSE will conduct essay writing competition for students from Class 5-7.

Students themselves cannot participate in the Essay Writing Competition rather the school will choose the 5 entries and send it to CBSE.
Each school has to submit 5 best entries to CBSE on January 29, 2015 through the online submission link that would be available.
