KVPY Interviews 2018 Centres List - Check Interview Centres and Dates

KVPY Interview 2018 Centres List will be announced by IISc Bangalore for all the candidates who clear KVPY Aptitude Test. KVPY Interviews 2018 are expected to start in the third week of January 2019. The candidates who qualify the first stage which is KVPY written test are selected for the second stage and called for the KVPY Interview round. KVPY Interviews are expected to start in the third week of January 2019. The Interview Centres and Dates will be released soon after the declaration of the written test result. The KVPY Interview Centres 2018 will be allotted based on the written/ online test centre of the students for the KVPY exam that will be conducted in the first week of November 2018. Latest Update - KVPY 2018 Notification is released on 11 May. The detailed notification is expected on the second Sunday of July.

All the selected candidates are required to appear in the KVPY interview on their assigned centre. The interview process will start in the third week of January 2019. The final result for KVPY 2018-19 will be announced in March 2019. The interview call letters will be available soon for the eligible candidates.

Reporting Time for Interview: KVPY interviews are usually conducted in 2 sessions every day, students having their interview in Forenoon session are expected to report at the designated centre at 9 A.M while those having interviews in Afternoon session are expected to report at 2 P.M.

KVPY Interview 2018 - List of Required documents

Candidates are required to carry with them the following documents. Without these documents students will not be allowed to be a part of the Interview process:

• Application Form and Interview Call Letter: Candidates can download it from Application portal using their login credentials. 
• Admit Card: These can also be downloaded from the Application Portal after logging in.
• Original Marks List: Students are required to carry with them their original marks lists for the purpose of verification. (Class 10 Marks card for Stream SA/SX and  Class 12 for Stream  SB)
• Caste Certificate: Candidates claiming reservation (SC/ST) should bring their caste certificate issued by competent authority.
• Medical Certificate: The physically and visually challenged students should bring with them medical certificates issued by competent authority. The certificate should be in GOI Format.
• A Self-Appraisal Form (In the given Format)
• Study Certificate Form: Study centre form is to be obtained by Principal/Head of the Institution where the student is enrolled.
• Teacher’s Recommendation Form: This form can be downloaded from the official website of KVPY and is to be filled by the teacher. Teacher’s Recommendation Form needs to be in a sealed envelope.

About KVPY

KVPY was launched in 1999 with an objective to encourage young talent and highly driven students to opt for basic science courses and research career in science. This fellowship is awarded on the basis of a written exam followed by an interview.

The advertisement for KVPY aptitude test appears on national dailies on the Technology Day which is on 11 May, and on the second Sunday of July every year. Every year around one lakh candidates appear for the KVPY exam and candidates who qualify the aptitude round are called for a personal interview.
