As per the latest JEE Main 2019 news, the JEE Main registration process has started. The JEE Main application is available from 1 September and the last date to apply for JEE Main 2019 is 30 September 2018. MHRD has released the complete exam schedule. Details about JEE Main news and list of dates are available on this page. According, to the JEE Main dates 2019, the computer based entrance test will be held from 6 to 20 January 2019. The test will be held in computer-based mode only and as per the latest JEE Main news, NTA has provided a total of 2775 test practice centres across India. This step has been taken by NTA to give an experience of a computer-based test to the students in rural areas where the resources are not present. These JEE test centres will be located inside those engineering colleges and schools where a computer centre is available on the campus.
The question that now arises is regarding the reach of such centres. We all know the condition of schools in rural areas. There is a lack of basic facilities let alone the computer centres. It is going to be a big challenge to first find such colleges and schools and then to reach the test such centres. A good coverage of all the areas is necessary to ensure that all the candidates can experience the computer-based test mode before the exam. Get all the latest news related to JEE Main 2019 here.
