Aadhaar Card Compulsory for JEE Main 2017 Application. Now the Indian citizen candidates will be required to enter the AADHAR Number during the time of filling the application form for JEE (Main) 2017. The AADHAR card which is issued by UIDAI becomes the important document at the time of the application process. Now the candidate's name, gender, and the address will be validated on the basis of the candidates AADHAR card. In case, if these particulars do not match, the candidates will not be able to fill the application form for JEE (Main).
The candidates desirous to appear in JEE (Main)- 2017 exam, advised to ensure that their AADHAAR card has correct details of their name, date of birth & gender as per school records. If the candidates find any mismatch in their AADHAR card they should immediately go to make it correct. This kind of problem may happen so the candidates must check their AADHAR card before applying for the exam.
About JEE Main 2017
JEE Main (The Joint Entrance Examination) is conducted by CBSE for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), participating State Government Institutions and several other Institutions shall accept the JEE Main 2017 Score.
- Top 2 lakh candidates of JEE Main will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs/ ISM Dhanbad.
- Last year, over 13 lakh candidates appeared for this national level exam for admissions to 31 NITs, 18 IIITs and 18 GFTIs, which are the participating institutes of JEE Main.
- JEE Main Exam organised for both Engineering and Architecture Aspirants.
JEE (Main) 2017 complete schedule announced earlier and the online application process will start from December 1, 2016, onwards. The last date for application is January 2, 2017, and fee can be paid up to January 3, 2017.
