This is the first time in 6 years that CAT is conducted by IIM Calcutta. Last year CAT Answer Key was released by IIM Lucknow on the official website. CAT Answer Key 2018 - Steps to challenge

CAT aspirants are now also able to raise an objection on the CAT Answer Key for any particular question. If they are sure about the answer they have given is correct so they can file an objection and challenge the answer key with the payment of Rs. 1000/- as fees for one question. The objection window will be available for only two days on the official website of IIM CAT.

How to Challenge CAT Answer Key 2018

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIM CAT.

Step 2: Login with the registered ID and Password.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Objection Form’ tab and then add the objection.

Step 4: Now, the candidates have to select section’s name, question number and objection type.

The type of objections is like:

• None of the options is a correct answer
• More than 1 option is a correct answer
• CAT Answer Key is incorrect

Step 5: Now they have to submit the objection form and pay the fees of Rs. 1000/-.

Note: In case the IIM found that the objection in CAT Answer Key is valid, the fee will be refunded. In case, the objection filed by the candidates is found invalid then the corrective measure will be taken by the IIM.
