CAT Dates 2018 - IIM Calcutta has released the list of CAT schedule through a press release on 28 July 2018. List of CAT dates 2018 is available on the press release. Candidates must make sure that they go through the CAT 2018 dates carefully to avoid missing deadlines. As per the release, CAT registration will start from 8 August and will end on 19 September 2018. CAT exam will be held on 25 November 2018 in a computer based test in two sessions across 147 cities. Aspirants are required to apply for the test as per the CAT registration dates to avail the admit card on 24 October 2018. CAT admit card will be available online only till the exam date. Highlights of CAT Dates 2018
The complete CAT exam dates has been released on 28 July 2018. CAT online registration will starts from 8 August until 19 September 2018. Before applying for the CAT exam, the candidates are requested to make sure that they meet the CAT eligibility criteria and also go through with the CAT Important Dates. Some important highlights of CAT dates 2018 are given below -
- CAT 2018 Registration: The CAT aspirants will have to click on the link provided on this page or visit the official website i.e. iimcat.ac.in and register themselves by providing their credentials like Username and Password. During CAT Registration 2018 process, they need to enter the basic details such as personal details, qualification details, contact details, choice of exam centre etc. After that, they will have to pay the registration fee via Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.
- CAT Admit Card 2018: CAT Admit Card will be available for download for those candidates who have duly filled the application form. It can be downloaded by the candidates once it’s available from the by entering their user id and password. It is the most important document for the candidates. They have to carry it on the exam day at the exam centre. If they fail to carry their CAT Admit Card 2018, then they will be not allowed to appear for the exam.
- CAT Exam 2018: The CAT Dates have to be noted by the CAT aspirants. CAT 2018 will be held on 25 November 2018 in a computer-based mode. The exam duration will be of 180 minutes and there will be total 100 questions in all 3 sections - Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Verbal & Reasoning Comprehensive.
- CAT Result 2018: The CAT result 2018 will be available in the form of a scorecard. CAT result 2018 will carry overall sectional score secured by the candidates. The candidates will be able to download their CAT Result 2018 by entering their user id and password.
- CAT Counselling 2018: After the announcement of the CAT result, the qualified candidates will have to deal with the selection procedure of CAT 2018 including Written Ability Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview i.e. the pre-admission round. Only after the conclusion of the pre-admission or counselling round, the final selection list will be announced.

The Common Admission Test, CAT is a national-level management entrance test organized by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) every year on a rotational basis. CAT exam is the biggest entrance exam for management in India which is conducted primarily to evaluate and shortlist the candidates for various PG (Postgraduate) Management programs. CAT exam is a single day computer-based exam which is conducted in two sessions.
