DTE Karnataka Diploma Result 2018 is expected to be announced in June as happened in the previous years. All the candidates who are participating this year for entering into polytechnic colleges can see the merit list here. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in class 10 or its equivalent examinations. Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) is the state level community who mainly works in to provide diplomas and conducts all the necessary exams regarding it. There are 81 Government Polytechnic, 44 government aided polytechnic and 188 private polytechnics in the state of Karnataka. The purpose of DTE is to promote technical education and provides opportunities to the masses in the Karnataka state.

DTE Karnataka Diploma Counselling after Result 2018

DTE Karnataka Counseling will be commenced soon after the announcement of merit list. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks in class 10 or its equivalent examination. Out of the total, 50% seats are reserved for various groups in the society, and for rest 50% the selection for technical courses will be made on the basis of merit list prepared by the marks obtained in class 10 or its equivalent examination.

• SSLC/10th passing certificate
• Original Transfer Certificate
• Recent Passport Size photographs
• Character Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• Eligibility certificate in case if passed the qualifying examination from educational board other than Karnataka
