FMS Delhi Cut Off 2017 - Faculty of Management Studies of Delhi grants the admission into the two years full-time MBS programme based on CAT score. Hence, the CAT score is mandatory to seek Admission into DU FMS. From the year 2017, DU FMS has made changes in admission policy to benefit non-engineer students. Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi has renovated the MBA admission policy. From now onwards, the FMS Delhi has decided to award weightage to sectional scores. Earlier, the admission into the DU FMS for MBA course used to be done by the Overall CAT percentile only. On this page, the DU FMS Delhi Cut Off for the year 2017 and previous years are given.
As per the new admission policy, the DU FMS will shortlist the candidates for interview based on different weights to the score of the different section of CAT 2017. Hence, a composite score will be calculated for the sections QA, DI/LR and VRC.
FMS Delhi Cut Off 2017 - Check FMS Delhi Cut Off 2016 / 2015
The FMS Delhi is inviting the applicants to apply for admission into DU FMS for MBA Course for 2018-20 session and the cutoffs for the admission are yet to be released. The CAT exam for this year is scheduled to be conducted on 26 November 2017 and cut off for 2017 admission are yet to be released. The cut-off score will be released after the CAT exam. The composite score of each section would be calculated and based on that, the admission would be granted to the candidates.Meanwhile, the candidates can go through the previous year FMS Delhi Cut Off so that somewhere they can estimate the cutoff for the year 2017.

What is FMS Composite Score and How it is Calculated?
The composite scores are the data collected from the various scale. In CAT, the composite scores are calculated based on the scaled scores in all the three sections that are VARC, DILR and QA. The admission in the DU FMS is done based on the sectional weightage. The method of calculating the composite score is given below:

Understanding the FMS Composite Score Calculation with an Example
Suppose there is a candidate with CAT 2017 percentile score of 99. He has sectional percentile scores as per following. Let us see how the composite score of this candidate will be calculated.
- Quantitative Ability (QA) - 100 marks
- Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) - 98 marks
- Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC) - 80
After FMS Awards Weightage, the composite scores are:
- 30% of 100 = 30 in Quantitative Ability (QA)
- 30% of 98 = 29.4 in Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- 40% of 80 = 32 in Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC)
- Total points the candidate has scored in shortlisting process are 91.6
