GATE 2019 registration process has started from 1 September 2018. IIT Madras has released GATE registration form online and the last date to apply is 21 September 2018. A link to fill GATE 2019 application form is available on this page for the convenience of candidates. To appear for GATE 2019 exam, candidates are required to fill and submit GATE online application within the last date. However, the extended GATE registration last date is 1 October, and candidates can request to change the GATE exam city till 16 November 2018.
Aspirants are required to fill GATE registration through the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). The GATE 2019 registration fee for candidates applying on or before 21 September is Rs. 1500 while for candidates applying during the extended period is Rs. 2000. Applicants must note that the GATE online application fee will vary as per the category of candidates. IIT Madras will be conducting GATE 2019 on 2,3,9 and 10 February 2019. GATE 2019 Registration Form - Apply Online
GATE 2019 Registration shall start from 1 September 2018 and will be done online only through GOAPS (GATE Online Automating Processing System). The last date to fill registration form is 21 September 2018. Before filling the GATE 2019 Registration Form, the candidates must ensure their eligibility criteria. The extended last date to fill the registration form is 1 October 2018. The candidates who seek admission or/and financial assistance to Masters/ Doctoral program in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture and relevant branches of Science must qualify in GATE 2019.

Steps to Fill GATE Registration 2019 Form using GOAPS
To ease the convenience of filling the GATE 2018 Registration Form, the steps along with instructions are given on this page below. The candidates are suggested to follow the steps and fill the form to escape the mistakes in the form.
GATE 2019 Registration Process
- Before filling the online application form, the candidates have to keep the ready scanned copy of the photograph, signature, certificate of qualifying degree, category certificate.
- Now the candidates have to visit GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) directly or by clicking the link given on this page. The candidates have to now register themselves by providing some basic personal details, contact details such as e-mail address and mobile number.
- After completion of registration process, each candidate will be provided with an enrollment ID and the candidates have to choose a password during the enrollment process.
Filling Up the GATE Registration Form
- Now, the candidates have to fill the online application form only at GOASP by entering their Personal information, contact details, address for communication, educational qualification details, college name & address, selection of GATE paper & GATE examination cities.
- Thereafter, the candidates have to upload scanned image of photograph and signature, Eligibility Certificate, category certificate (if applicable) PWD certificate in PDF format. Thereafter, the candidates have to enter the details of valid Identity Document (ID).
- Now the candidates have to make payment of the application fee through the electronic mode of making a payment such as net banking, credit card or debit card.
Documents required for GATE Registration Form Submission
- High-quality image of candidate’s photograph conforming to the requirements specified
- Good quality image of candidate’s signature conforming to the requirements specified
- Scanned copy of the Eligibility Certificate in pdf format (Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate or Certificate from the Head of the Department/ Institute>>>Check Here
- Scanned copy of Category (SC/ST) certificate (if applicable) in pdf format
- Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format
- Scanned copy of Dyslexia Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format
- Details of the valid Identity Document (ID) (The same ID, in original, should be carried to the examination hall)
- Net-banking/debit card/credit card details for fee payment
- Valid Identity Document: Passport/ PAN card/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar-UID/ College ID/ Employee ID/ Driving License

Submission of the GATE 2019 Registration Form
The eligible candidates can fill and submit the GATE registration form only through online mode on GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). The candidates can visit GOAPS directly by clicking the link given on this page. GATE 2019 registration form must be submitted before 1 October 2018. The candidates are advised to take a print out of filled application form for future references.
Note: If a candidate makes more than one application for the same paper, he/she will be allowed to appear in any one session ONLY.
