Difference between NMAT Registration and Scheduling
NMAT registration means filling the registration application form online on the official website of NMAT and making requisite payment whereas, scheduling means the candidates schedule the NMAT test for a certain date, time and venue of the centre.
The candidates who want to schedule the NMAT test on his/her preferred date, time slot and test centre must complete registration process early so they can schedule their preferred date, time and test centre. First come First serve principle apply to both registration and Scheduling process.
NMAT Scheduling process
The candidates who have registered themselves for NMAT test can now schedule the NMAT Test. First, the candidates are required to register online on the official website of NMAT at www.nmat.org.in by entering the required details. After completing the registration and making payment of the registration fee, the candidates can proceed for scheduling the exam. The candidates can schedule/reschedule the NMAT in exam tab in the candidate dashboard available in the NMAT by GMAC account. The candidates have to select the date, time slot and test centre of his/her preferred choice based on the availability of seats. The scheduling process is based on First come First serve principle.
Within 24 hours of scheduling the NMAT test, the candidates will receive a confirmation email mentioning the name of their test venue and address along with date and time of the test. The candidates who do not receive the confirmation email within 24 hours of scheduling the test should contact the Pearson VUE helpdesk (0120-4397855, nmatbygmacsupport@pearson.com).
NMAT Rescheduling Process
The candidates can also re-schedule the NMAT test within 72 hours or even more prior to the scheduled appointment of the test which is subject to availability of seats and payment of the applicable re-scheduling fee. In the re-scheduling process, the candidates select a different date, time and test centre as per the availability of seats. The NMAT rescheduling process also follows the principle “First come First serve”. The re-schedule will be open from 4 July 2017 to 15 December 2017.
NMAT Scheduling Fee
The candidates who are rescheduling have to pay the rescheduling fee of Rs 1000 + GST. The candidates can make payment of the NMAT re-scheduling fee through online modes of payment.
