Eligibility Criteria for JJ School of Arts BFA Admission
The eligibility criteria for admission in JJ School of Arts is given below. The eligibility criteria for the Maharashtra state candidates, Maharashtra Domicile candidates and Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates are different which is separately given.
- Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates: The candidates should be an India national and should belong to Maharashtra state and should be passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination from Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in any stream with minimum 45% marks in aggregate.
- The candidates who belong to backwards class should have secured at least 40% marks. The candidates who are appeared in the qualifying exam this year but still waiting for final result are also eligible to apply.
- Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra Domicile Candidates: The candidates who belong to Maharashtra state but lives and study out of Maharashtra must be passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised institution or board in India in any stream with minimum 45% (40% for backwards class) marks in aggregate.
- The candidates who are appeared in the qualifying exam this year but still waiting for final result are also eligible to apply for MH AAC CET.
- Eligibility Criteria for Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) Candidates: The candidates who are Indian but not a Marathi is also eligible to apply for appearing in Maharashtra CET
- Such candidates must be passed in in class 10 and 12 standard or equivalent examination from a recognised institution or board in India in any stream with minimum 45% (40% for backwards class) marks in aggregate.

JJ School of Arts - Admission Procedure
The admission in the JJ School of Arts for BFA and MFA programmes done on the basis of MH AAC CET. The admission in the JJ School of Arts will be done as per the given process:
- Final Merit List: The final merit list of the candidates will be displayed and category wise seat distribution for CAP Round 1 will be done
- Provisional Allotment of CAP Round 1: After the final merit list, the provisional allotment of CAP Round 1 list will be displayed.
- Provisional Allotment of CAP Round 2: If the seats remain vacant after the provisional allotment of CAP Round 1, the provisional allotment of CAP Round 2 will be held on.
- Provisional Allotment of CAP Round 3: If the seats remain vacant after the second round of CAP 2 provisional allotment, the round 3 of the CAP will be held on.
- Report to the allotted institutes: At last, the candidates have to report to the institutes which are allotted to them.
