CSAB Supernumerary Round 2018 will be conducted by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) as per the guideline of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) ministry of India. MHRD has released guideline for a Supernumerary round of counselling, according to the guideline, there will be the Supernumerary Quota for the candidates who belong to UTs of Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep & Khandvi and Andaman & Nicobar Islands in some of the NITs. The eligible candidates have to submit online registration, choice filling & locking for CSAB Supernumerary Round 2018 in the first week of August 2018. Under CSAB Supernumerary Round, seat distribution for the Union Territories (UTs) will be as under:

Eligibility for Supernumerary Round
The candidates having State code of eligibility of Union Territories (UTs) as per the Business rule of JoSAA 2018 or as notified for UTs/ as per their class 12 certificate/ mark sheet are eligible to appear in CSAB Supernumerary Round 2018. The candidates who did not get a seat till Special Vacant Seat Filling round are also eligible.
OR
The candidates who did not report against an allotment in the previous round or the candidates who reported against the allotted seats but the seat was cancelled are also still un-allotted.
OR
The candidates who reported against the allotted seat to RC but withdrew the allotted seat are also eligible to apply.
OR
The candidates who have paid an initial fee and reported against the seat allotment through JoSAA counselling but did not report to the allotted institute under the time limit can also apply for admission.
