A Special Manual (offline) counselling is going to be conducted of JEXPO Counselling to fill up the vacant seats in Government and Government-sponsored polytechnics. Only the qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the JEXPO Counselling rounds. Every year, JEXPO 2018 is conducted for admission to the first year Diploma courses of Government-owned, Self-financed and Government sponsored polytechnics in the state of West Bengal. Things about the pre-counselling programme of JEXPO 2018

• The registration and choice filling under the counselling will start tentatively from 14 June 2018
• The candidates attending the programme will be informed about different aspects of online counselling procedure
• Also, the candidates will get to know about the steps to be followed during the counselling process
• The merit listed candidates of JEXPO may join the programme at any of the venues of their choice.

JEXPO Counselling 2018

The JEXPO Counselling is conducted to fill up the remaining vacant seats of the Government and Government-sponsored polytechnics after the completion of the admission under online counselling and special offline counselling. A Special Manual (Offline) counselling is going to be conducted from 19 July 2018 for admission in Government and Government-sponsored polytechnics. This Special Counselling of JEXPO 2018 is conducted only for those who could not get seats in any of the earlier online counselling and have an eligible rank as per the notification. All of the valid rank holders of JEXPO & VOCLET (excluding candidates admitted through online & offline counselling) are allowed to participate in this Open Online Counselling on the “First come First serve” basis.

JEXPO Counselling Process 2018 - Steps to be Followed

• Online Registration: The Candidates first need to login to the counselling portal to register themselves. After login, the candidates have to enter the required details to the window.
• Fill the choices: The candidates can choose the choice of the colleges from the list and then save it. The candidates need to fill the information available in the admit card of respective entrance examinations and have to choose the seats from the list.
• Seat Allotment: On booking of the seat, the candidate has to take a printout of the allotment letter and report it the allotted institute for the admission
• Report at Institutes: The candidate has to visit the allotted institute for the admission with two copies of allotment letter along with the other documents as mentioned in it.
• Document Verification: The candidates have to verify their documents which can acquire for the admission. Candidates must have to carry Xerox copy of it which will be submitted to the Institutes and get seat allotment copy from the Institute.
