TISSNET 2018 Application Form - Registration Started!

TISSNET 2018 Application Form for MA (MBA) admissions are available. Aspiring candidates can fill the application form from 24 October 2017 to 8 December 2017. A candidate can apply for a maximum of 3 programs in two campuses of TISS using the same application form. Scroll down for the application Link and details regarding TISSNET 2018 Application Form. 

TISS Registration process can be executed in both Online and Offline mode but the candidates are advised to fill the application form through ONLINE mode to stay away from the courier hassles. 

• The candidates from remote places where no Internet and Telecommunication facilities are available can get a printed copy of the application form from the Institute

Latest Update: Candidates are informed that the last date of TISSNET 2018 Application form submission is extended from 25 November 2017 to 8 December 2017.

TISSNET Application form can be filled ONLINE, however, the candidates from remote places (with no Internet &Telecommunication facilities) can get a printed copy of the application form from the Institute. Such candidates must send the request for the printed form by Speed Post with application fees to the Institute (address given below). It is to be noted that candidates applying through the E-application form need not send the application form by post.

Candidate can apply for more than one programme through a single application, however, the application fee will vary in each case. Candidates applying online have to follow the given link, Register and then fill the online application form.

The online application form contains 5 Steps to complete the application procedure.The candidate has to start from the first step and complete each step to move forward to the next step. 

• STEP 1: Fill basic details section giving required information about candidate's Personal, Contact Details and Test Center Preferences.
• STEP 2: Fill academic details of the qualifying exams.
• STEP 3: The candidate has to now select the programs he/she wish to apply to.
• STEP 4: Upload documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature and challan if you have paid by cash.
• STEP 5: Pay the application fee: Candidates can pay using Cash or Payment Gateway

Payment of TISSNET Application Fee

The Application Fee for 1 program for General Candidate: Rs 1030 The Application Fee for 1 program for SC/ST/OBC-NC: Rs 260. The Payment of the application fee can be done via two modes:

• Online Payment: Through Credit/Debit/Net Banking
• Offline Payment: Through Cash Deposit in any SBI branches using the prescribed challan.  To pay the application fee by 'Cash', the candidate has to take the printout of the SBI deposit challan and take it to the bank while paying the fees and then enter the "SBI Journal Number" in the application form.

TISSNET 2018 Application fee concession: The candidates who are unemployed and whose family's annual income (from all the sources) for the Financial Year 2015-16 is less than Rs.2.5 Lakhs for SC/ST (Rs.1 lakh for OBC(NC)) are required to pay Rs.250 as Concessional Application Fee for each programme. Such candidates have to upload the required document as a proof of the same.

Submission of TISSNET 2018 Application Form

The candidates who fill the online TISSNET Application form need to submit the application form online ONLY. The candidates who fill the offline application form have to send the hard copy of the duly completed Application form to the following address:

TISSNET 2018 Application form - Documents to be uploaded 

The candidates applying through the online application form will have to upload the certificates mentioned above. Those who are submitting a hard copy of the application form should post the following documents (attested by a School Headmaster or a Principal of College or a Gazetted Officer)  along with the application form:

• Caste/Tribe Certificate for SC/ST.
• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for OBC.
• Disability certificates for PWD candidates.
• KM certificate (for Kashmir Migrants). 
• Armed Force certificate (If Applicable).
• Income Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (NC) candidates (for the financial year 2016-17)
• TISS copy of challan (if paid by cash).
• Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate issued after 01-04-2017 by the District Magistrate / Deputy Commissioner / Tahsildar.
• SC/ST candidates whose annual family income is less than 250000 (2.5 lac) and OBC(NC) candidates whose annual family income is less than 100000 have to upload Income certificate for the Financial Year 2016-2017 issued by Revenue Officer
• Stamp size Photograph and signature of the following specifications;

Problem in Uploading Documents in TISSNET 2018 Application Form

If document upload fails once, the candidate must check the size, resolution and file type of the documents and try to re-upload them again. It is advisable to try uploading the documents again even if the size and resolution are correct. If the candidate is still not able to upload documents even after following the above procedure then the documents can be e-mailed. The candidate has to follow the given instructions and email the document to the institute:

• Compose a mail to pgadmission@tiss.edu. The Subject of the Email must be: <APPLICATION NO.> Issue in Document Upload: For e.g.: 6692 > Issue in Document Upload.
• Send the email from the Registered Email ID ( Email given in online application form).
