XAT Syllabus 2019 are prepared by XLRI Jamshedpur to challenge the aspirant's ability in various ways. There is no official announcement regarding the XAT exam syllabus. On the basis of previous years' XAT question papers and exam analysis, Mota Chashma has provided details complete XAT syllabus. As per previous years' trends, the XAT 2019 syllabus will be based on topics such as Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation, General Knowledge, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Decision Making. With the help of XAT syllabus, candidates will get to know about the topics, and they can avoid spending time on unnecessary topics.
To get a grip over the XAT syllabus, candidates are advised to practice XAT question papers, sample papers and write mock tests. This will help them to understand the distribution of XAT 2019 syllabus topics and sub-topics. Also, they will get to know about the weightage of each sub-topics dominating in XAT 2019.

Latest Update: This year, the Essay Writing section has been discontinued. XAT Registration 2019 started from 20 August 2018 and will conclude on 30 November 2018.
XAT Syllabus 2019: Download GK,QA & DI,VA & LR,DM PDF
This year, there won't be any questions for Essay Writing. However, the rest of the XAT syllabus remains the same. Since like most of the other reputed management entrance exams, there is no official notification or any announcement regarding the topics of XAT Syllabus 2019. Therefore to know about the details about the topics of XAT syllabus, candidates are advised to prepare for topics by practising previous year question papers and sample papers. Until last year, the questions were divided into two sections, i.e. Section 1, which contained questions on Quant, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability, and Decision Making. The second part, i.e. Section 2, had questions on General Knowledge and Essay Writing. As mentioned above, this year there will be no topics for Essay writing.
Note: According to the XAT Syllabus 2019, the marks of General Knowledge will not be used for calculating the percentile and cut-off at the first stage of selection, but it will be considered in the final stage of selection.

XAT Syllabus 2019 - Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning
In this section of XAT syllabus 2019, the candidate's mathematical, analytical skill and command over the English language are checked. There will be a total of 24 questions in this section, based on the following topics:

XAT Syllabus 2019 - Test Pattern
As per the XAT Exam Pattern 2019, the test will be held in online mode. It is expected that the total number of questions will be 98 and candidates will be given 3 hours 35 minutes to complete the test. Every correct attempt will be awarded one mark while 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answers. Also, if a candidate has left more than 12 questions unanswered, then 0.25 marks will be deducted from the 13th question. It will be helpful for aspirants to go through the exam pattern along with the XAT syllabus 2019 to prepare for the test.

XAT Preparation Tips 2019
Management aspirants preparing for XAT 2019 are advised to go through the XAT syllabus carefully before preparing for the test. With the help of the syllabus, candidates will get to know about the various topics and sub-topics of the question paper. Also, aspirants must check the exam pattern of XAT 2019 to understand the distribution of questions and marks.
Once the candidates are familiar with the test pattern and have covered the topics and sub-topics of the syllabus, then they can start solving the old question papers and sample papers. Also, they can go for the mock tests of various coaching institutes. On solving these sample or question papers or writing the mock test, candidates are advised to analyse their answers.
