The official NEET 2021 answer key is available to challenge the responses for a period of three days. If a candidate finds any error in the NEET official answer key by NTA, then they can challenge the responses within the stipulated period of time.
Applicants will be given an opportunity to submit representation against the OMR grading by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200 per question challenged
For challenging NEET 2021 answer key, an aspirant needs to pay an amount of Rs. 1000 per answer key/response/test booklet code in online mode. However, this amount will be refunded if NTA will accept the challenge. The answer to the challenging question will be changed in NEET 2021 final answer key.

NEET Answer Key Challenge 2021
Candidates can raise an objection to the answers provided in the answer key if they find any incorrect answer. To challenge neet answer key, aspirants have to fill an objection form and have to pay Rs. 1000 per question. The payment for challenging per solution in NEET answer key 2021 can be done in online mode. The step-wise procedure to challenge NEET 2021 answer key has been provided below.
- STEP 1 - The link to challenge NEET official answer key will be provided on this page and then enter the registration number and password
- STEP 2 - Click on the ‘Key Challenge’ tab and select the ‘Test Booklet code’
- STEP 3 - Select the question for the challenge and click on ‘submit’ and then select the answer you want to challenge
- STEP 4 - Click on ‘confirm’ button and pay the requisite amount of money for challenging an answer in the key. The amount can be paid in online mode through credit/debit cards. For every challenge, Rs. 1000 must be paid.
- STEP 5 - Take the printout of the confirmation slip indicating the successful payment and the details of the answers which were challenged.
How to Calculate Scores using NEET 2021 Answer Key?
Candidates can use the answer key for evaluation of expected NEET scores. NEET 2021 Answer Key - Points to remember
Following are the points which candidates must remember while calculating scores through unofficial NEET answer key.
- Unofficial answer key - Aspirants are suggested to mark their correct answer as (√) on the question paper. With the help of marking the answer, candidates will be able to cross-check their answers with the solution given in NEET answer key.
- NEET official answer key - For evaluation of expected scores, NTA has released the official answer key. Before it, the authority will also publish the images of OMR sheet for aspirants to calculate their scores.
- Aspirants must match the code and language of the answer key with their question paper. It is advised to check the code/language of their question paper and answer key for valid calculation.
- The evaluation of marks must be done carefully. In case of any distraction, the probable scores calculated by aspirants can be incorrect.
- NEET 2021 question paper has 180 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Four options will be given for every question and the only option is correct. If there is more than one option marked, the answer will be considered incorrect.
NEET 2021 Question Papers
There were 20 codes of NEET question papers which are – ABCD, EFGH, KLMN, PQRS, and WXYZ. The question papers of NEET 2021 are available in 13 languages including Hindi, English, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Punjabi. The language of question paper given to candidate depends upon the choice of language chosen by the candidate while filling NEET application form.
- Candidates who opt for English language question paper were given NEET 2021 question paper in English language only.
- For those who have chosen any other language than English were provided with bilingual test booklet of NEET 2021, in which one language is the selected one and other being English
- The question paper of NEET 2021 had 180 MCQs, which was conducted for 720 marks. NEET question papers include questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
- Only 3 hours are allotted to complete the entrance test.
What after NEET 2021 Answer Key?
Once NEET answer key will be published, the authority will release the announce the result in October 2021. To download NEET result, aspirants must enter registration number, date of birth and security pin. NEET 2021 result will display name of candidates, father and mother’s name, roll number, date of birth, subject-wise and total marks obtained and percentile score. Along with that, it will also display All India Rank, NEET cut off scores to qualify the test and cut off for 15% All India Quota.
NEET 2018 Cut off
The cut off of NEET 2018 is the minimum qualifying marks which must be secured by aspirants to pass the test. NEET 2018 cut off marks to qualify the test will be declared along with the result on 5 June. Besides that, the cutoff scores to be eligible for 15% All India Quota seats will also be available. As per the official notification, candidates belonging to General category must secure 50 percentile to pass the test, while that for SC/ST and OBC aspirants, it is 40 percentile. The percentile will be determined on the basis of highest marks secured in the All India common merit list of NEET 2021.
