CG PET Result 2018 Declared

CG PET Result 2018 for the Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET) has been declared on 18 May 2018. This is the result of the Chhattisgarh State Entrance Exam. CG Vyaoam has released the CG PET result along with the final answer key and the list of CG PET Toppers. The candidates who have qualified and have secured the desired marks would be called for counselling based on the marks in the CG PET. It was a pen and paper-based test for admission into B.E./B.Tech/B. Tech (Bio-Technology)/ B.Tech (Dairy Technology) and was conducted on 29 April 2018.

Note for B.Tech Bio-Technology Students - It is to be noticed that 2/3rd of the total seats in B.Tech Biotechnology will be filled on the basis of CG PET and 1/3 seats will be filled on the basis of  CCPHT. This page gives the information about the CG PET Result 2018.

The candidates can check CG PET Result 2018 by following the link which is available on this page. CG PET 2018 Result is announced on 19 May 2018. Candidates can know their scores and rank through the CG PET Result. To check result, the candidates have to enter their Roll Number. CG PET 2018 and CG PPHT Result 2018 and Merit will be the basis for engineering admissions in Chhattisgarh.

Rechecking and Revaluation of Result

Candidates cannot ask for rechecking of the answer sheet. Candidates having any doubt with respect to the CG PET answer key can send the objection along with evidential proof to cgvyapam@gmail.com. The challenged answer will be regarded wrong only if the subject experts found one of the following problems in it:

• There are two answers to a question
• If more than two answer options are right. 
• No options are correct
• Discrepancies in Hindi and English MCQs.
• In case of the printing error

Rank and Tie-breaking after CG PET Result 

The merit list would be prepared based on the CG PET 2018 score and the qualifying exam mark, but if there is a tie between two candidates, in that case, marks secured by the candidate in the following sequence will be considered: 

• Marks obtained in Mathematics 
• Marks Obtained in Physics
• Marks obtained in Chemistry 

In case the candidate has secured same marks in these subjects, the candidate who is older in age would be considered. If the age of the candidate is also similar then the Class 12 marks will be considered to break the tie. 

CG PET Counselling after Result Declaration

The counselling of CG PET would be based on the mark card and merit list. The merit list would be prepared based on the marks obtained in CGPET and the qualifying exam. The candidates will have to carry his/her listed below documents at the time of the CG PET Counselling and Seat Allotment.

• CG PET Score Card
• Mark Sheet of Class 10
• Mark Sheet of Class 12
• Domicile Certificate of Chhattisgarh
• Reservation Certificate
• ID Proof and migration certificate.
