AMU Result and Counselling 2018 - Result Declared!

AMU Result 2018 for the entrance exam for admission to various UG and PG courses has been declared on 15 June 2018 for B.Tech and B.Com courses. The candidates who appeared in the AMU exam for these courses can now check the result. The result of AMU is declared in the form of the selection list. The candidates can check their result by searching for their roll number. All the selected candidates will be called for the counselling process which will start from the month of July 2018. AMU Exam was conducted in pen and paper mode across different centres in the country in the month of April and May 2018 on different dates for the different courses. AMU Result 2018 has been declared on 15 June 2018 for BTech and BCom courses. The candidates who appeared in the exam can now check their result by following the link on this page. The result is declared in the form of the selection list. The result of AMU for BTech and BCom is separately given in the tabular form below

• AMU Scores and Marks: AMU University will not send separate letters for marks and rank lists. The list of the selected candidates for counselling would be displayed on the college notice board and the website, students can check from there.
• Revaluation of AMU Result: There is no provision for revaluation of the AMU result.

What after AMU Result 2018?

After the declaration of the AMU Result 2018, the counselling procedure will start. It is to be noticed by the candidates that the notification for counselling will be issued by the university. The candidates shortlisted for counselling after the result of AMU can clearly specify their course preference. Although, the order of preference once specified will not be changed. In case the candidate does not report for the counselling then his/ her candidature for admission will be considered invalid. At last, the selected candidates will be allotted course, subject etc. as per preference indicated by them

AMU Counselling venue for the B.Tech and B.Com courses is given below along with the reporting and counselling timings. The candidates are suggested to keep the dates, venue and timing of counselling in their mind.

For B.Tech

• Venue - Office of the Dean, F/o Engg. & Technology, AMU, Aligarh
• Time of Reporting/Document Verification - 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM
• Time of Counselling/Admission : 10:00 AM

For B.Com (Boys)

• Venue - Office of the Dean, F/o Commerce, AMU, Aligarh
• Timing for Admission - 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

For B.Com (Girls)

• Venue - Office of the Principal, Women's College, AMU, Aligarh

AMU B.Tech Counselling 2018 - Round 2 & 3

The candidates who get selected in Chance Memo and Nomination Categories now have to take admission in the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) through the 2nd and third round of counselling. The next rounds of counselling will be conducted as per the schedule is given below:

AMU 2018 Counselling for Other Courses

The declaration of the result is followed by the counselling and allotment of seats across different specialisation. No separate intimation letters will be sent to the candidates short-listed for counselling for admission. MBBS and BDS admission would be based on NEET UG Score. The seat distribution across different courses would be divided in the following manner:

AMU B.Arch. Admission

The paper 1 and paper 2 define the selection in B.Arch. The first paper is common with B.Tech, and the second paper would assess the drawing skills and in-depth knowledge of the candidate in engineering. It is imperative for the candidates to score 40% in Paper-II (Architecture Aptitude Test) for admission.

Documents Required at the Time of Admission in Aligarh Muslim University

Original Marks Sheet of the qualifying examination

• Four Self attested photocopies of Mark sheets.  
• Mark sheet /Grade Sheet/ Certificates downloaded from the Internet shall be accepted which is attested by the Controller / Registrar / Issuing Authority of the awarding University at the time of admission.
• Transfer / Migration and Character Certificate from the Institution last attended. In case the Certificates are not available, the candidate has to give an undertaking on prescribed format and submit them within a month. 
• High School Certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth.
• Five (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front facing color photographs (in white background).
• Certificates in support of Special Categories claimed in the Application Form.
• Leave Sanction / Relieving Order from the employer for the entire duration of the course (if Applicable).
• Four self-addressed envelopes bearing postage stamps worth Rs. 22 each (to be submitted to the Office of the Provost of Hall of Residence / NRSC allotted).
• Two Oath Commissioner’s Affidavit on plain paper – one on your behalf and the other on behalf of your parents/guardian regarding not to indulge in ragging.
• Latest Certificate of vaccination for Typhoid, Cholera and Hepatitis “B” – (applicable only for Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery course).
