Thapar University Counselling 2018 will be conducted for the admission to the various UG courses offered by Thapar University. The counselling process will start from 29 May 2018. Thapar University first list of selected candidates will be published on 28 May 2018, which will be provided on this page. The first round of Thapar University Counselling 2018 will commence from 29 May to 8 June 2018 and the counselling schedule is announced officially. The document verification of selected candidates will be done through online counselling from 13 to 15 July 2018. Thapar University Counselling 2018 - Seat Allotment
The eligible candidates will be called for counselling for final admission as per rank in Merit List of the category they have applied. There will be no separate selected and waitlist. The physical presence of the candidate during the counselling (verification of documents) is mandatory. No individual call letters will be sent to the candidates to attend the counselling.

In case the candidate does not participate in the online counselling as per the schedule notified, it shall be presumed that they are not interested in seeking admission in this course and thus their admission will remain cancelled. If in case the candidate is found unsuitable by the Central UG Admission Board at the time of verification of documents, they will be rejected.

- Matriculation/Higher Secondary Certificate showing Date of Birth
- Result Card of JEE Main or NEET Entrance Exam
- Admit Card of JEE Main and NEET 2018 Entrance Exam
- GATE Score Card for M.E./M.Tech. Admissions
- Character Certificate
- Medical Fitness Certificate as per ANNEXURE-III
- Reserved Category Certificate on the prescribed proforma (as per ANNEXURE-I or ANNEXURE-II as applicable) and signed by the competent authority (if applicable)
- Affidavit required in case of discontinuity of studies as per ANNEXURE-IX
- Affidavit of Anti-Ragging by student (ANNEXURE-XII) and parents (ANNEXURE-XI)
- Affidavit of Anti-Alcohol/Drug Abuse by student (ANNEXURE-XIV) and parents (ANNEXURE-XIII)
- Undertaking by candidates not having the result of the qualifying exam as per prescribed format (ANNEXURE-X) in the case of M.E./M.Tech. admissions.
