OJEE Counselling is for admission to B.Tech, BHMS, BAMS, B.Pharm and many other UG and PG courses. Seat Allotment Result for Round 1 of OJEE Counselling was released on 2 July 2018. Candidates will now have to go to the allotted centres for document verification from 5 to 11 July 2018. The candidates are required to register to participate in OJEE 2018 counselling. The Counselling is done on the basis of OJEE 2018 rank and candidates are called for Odisha JEE counselling for final admission. OJEE counselling cum admission to different courses of Government and Private professional institutions of Odisha started from 12 June 2018. OJEE Web Based Counselling cum Admission is conducted for the following courses:
- BHMS and BAMS
- First Year Bachelor’s Degree Courses in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture/ Planning / Pharmacy
- Masters Degree in Applied Management (MAM)
- Masters Degree in Computer Application (MCA)
- First Year Masters Degree Courses in Business Administration (MBA)
- Second Year Courses in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy / Architecture / Masters Degree In Computer Application (MCA) Under Lateral Entry And Integrated Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
The Counselling will be done on the basis of OJEE 2018 rank and candidates would be called for Odisha JEE counselling for final admission as per the specified Odisha JEE Counselling Dates 2018. A candidate can seek admission only against a valid OJEE 2018 rank card/ JEE MAIN/ AIPMT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA / GATE/ GPAT / NIMCET etc. rank card. OJEE Counselling 2018 - Get BAMS & BHMS Course Details
OJEE Result for the year 2018 has been declared. Result for the 1st round of Seat Allotment of counselling for OJEE declared on 2 July 2018. OJEE counselling cum admission to different courses of Government and Private professional institutions of Odisha will start from 12 June 2018. The counselling schedule will be soon released by the Government of Odisha soon. The candidates seeking admission in B.Tech, BHMS, BAMS, B.Pharm and many other UG and PG courses through OJEE Counselling need to register themselves through online mode. OJEE Web Counselling Procedure 2018
The web counselling and admission process involves the following seven steps:
- Online registration.
- Online choice filling.
- Reporting at nodal centre, payment of Counselling fee and university registration fee, verification of all documents, final choice locking and print out of final seat choice.
- Temporary Seat Position (Not to be used for admission purpose)
- Withdrawal Process.
- Auto-upgradations and final allotment (Final round allotment)
- Reporting at the allotted Institute.
OJEE Online Counselling Process of BAMS/ BHMS
STEP 1: Online Registration: To participate in the counselling process, all the shortlisted candidates of OJEE 2018 and other candidates who have qualified National level Entrance Tests have to REGISTER themselves ONLINE via the internet from the place of their convenience through the OJEE Counselling website.
STEP 2: Online Choice Filling: Candidate has to select Colleges and courses they wish to join and arrange them in the order of priority. Best choice, 1st choice and 2nd best 2nd choice and it go on.
STEP 3: Reporting at Nodal Center: Upon successful Registration and choice filling at their convenient place, the candidate has to go to a designated Nodal Centre for verification of relevant documents, payment of fees and choice locking. Step 3 is further divided into few more steps
- Counselling Fee Remittance: All the OJEE candidates are required to pay a Non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 450. The amount is payable through an Account Payee Bank Draft in favour of “OJEE 2018” drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Bhubaneswar.
- University Registration Fees: The candidate has to deposit Rs 5000/-(SC, ST and PC candidates) or Rs 10000 ( other categories) at Axis Bank on a format given in OJEE web page (also this form is available at all Axis Bank counter). After deposit of part admission fee at Axis Bank, the candidate will get a receipt from the bank which is to be produced at nodal centre.
- Document Verification: After payment of counselling fee and University Registration Fee, the candidates will be allowed for document verification at nodal centre. In case the candidate fails to clear the document verification, they can collect back the draft of Rs 5,000
- Locking of the Choices: Candidates have to lock their choices at the designated nodal centre on the notified date. Candidate must take the print out of the locked choices with their signature along with that of the nodal officer.
STEP 4: Temporary Seat Allotment: The choices submitted by the candidates will be processed and seats will be allotted in the order of rank based on their locked choices. The allotment result will be published on the website and SMS alert regarding allotment will be sent to candidates.
STEP 5: Withdrawal Process: In case the candidate wants to withdraw from Counselling process, they can approach Nodal Centre where they had verified their documents within the specified duration. In the withdrawal process, they can collect an account payee cheque / SAME from his/her deposited university registration fee of Rs. 5,000 by filling up a withdrawal form at the nodal centre.
STEP 6: Final Allotment: After deducting the candidates who have withdrawn from counselling, the auto-up graduation will be carried out among all the remaining candidates. Final allotment will be available on the website with SMS alert. Thereafter the candidates can download their respective individual final allotment letters from the website.
STEP 7: Reporting at the Institute: After allotment of seat candidate has to take a printout of the final allotment letter and has to report at the College/University that has been finally allotted within NOTIFIED working days from the publication of the result.

- Downloaded rank card (OJEE/JEE (Main)/ or Scorecard (CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA/GATE/GPAT/NIMCET etc.)
- Online registration slip
- HSC or any other relevant certificate showing the date of birth
- 10+2 Mark sheet
- 10+2 pass certificate
- School leaving / College leaving certificate
- Resident/Nativity Certificate (Appendix-I) in original from concerned Revenue Officer not below than Tahsildar
- A document proving eligible for State category seat.
- Certificate of Employment of candidate’s Parent / Spouse(Appendix- II). Employer: Govt. of Odisha / Govt. of India / Govt. of India undertakings / Govt. of Odisha Undertakings located in Odisha at the time of application
- Qualifying Examination Pass Certificate from Odisha
- Receipt of Counselling and University Registration fee payment made.
- Green Card issued by Family Welfare Department, Government Odisha
OJEE 2018 Seat Allocation
- All the seats shall be allotted strictly on the basis of eligibility, filled choices and merit.
- Admissions are subjected to the verification of credential and documents in the nodal centre.
- Based on the options exercised by the candidate's allotment of seats will be taken up.
- While allotting the seats, the Rank and the Category will be considered.
