IISER Application Form 2018

IISER Application Form 2018 will be available online from 21 May 2018 and the candidates who are looking forward to securing their seats in the IISER can apply on or before the due date. Applications can be filled ONLINE only for admission in the first year of BS-MS Dual-degree, Program offered at Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) located in Tirupati, Mohali, Bhopal, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata, Tirupati, and Berhampur. Candidates who will register and qualify in the exam will be able to secure their admissions into various IISER branches. Candidates will get admission on the basis of JEE advanced result 2018, KVPY and SCB scores. About IISER
IISER organizes its own entrance examination and it the possesses status of an Autonomous Institute under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. There are three modes for the entry into IISER:

1. By KVPY.
2. By JEE Advanced.
3. By State & Central Board (SCB).

The application steps are almost same for all the above-mentioned entry methods. The only difference is that for candidates applying through KYPY & JEE Advanced there will be no aptitude test while for candidates applying through SCB need to go through Aptitude Test. There are 4 Steps to fill the IISER application form which is common for all the candidates; there is a slight difference in the information that needs to be entered while filling the form. The details of the steps are as mentioned below. The candidates are advised to read the instructions regarding the complete application process carefully before filling the application form.

Things to be kept ready before filling IISER 2018 Application Form

• Email Id: Applicant must enter his details clearly in the application form as all the important notifications will be sent to the email id and in case the candidate forgets their login details, the same can be retrieved by means of the email id.
• Academic details: Candidates should keep their documents of class 10, 12 and related examination with them as the information entered should be based on the same documents.
• For Online Payment: The application fee is to be paid online, so applicants are required to keep their credit card/ debit card or net banking credential with them in order to complete the payment procedure.
• Photograph: The candidates should keep their passport size photograph ready before filling the application form.
• Type: Colored
• Format: JPG format
• File Size: less than 1 MB

IISER Application Form 2018 - Steps to be Followed

• STEP 1 (Registration): The candidates first need to register themselves on the official website of the IISER to fill the further IISER application form. In this section, the candidates need to fill their personal and some basic information.
• STEP 2 (Filling up application form): Candidates need to update their details which would be academic and some other important information in the relevant columns. Those candidates applying through KVPY or JEE Advanced need to enter their roll number in the same step while candidates for SCB need to enter the information related to their choices of Aptitude test.
• STEP 3 (Uploading Photograph): Once the application gets submitted, the candidates will be provided with their Unique Application Number and Password which will be required for uploading photographs and making payment of the application fee. The candidates need to upload their passport size photograph after logging into their account.
• STEP 4 (Payment and Submission of Application): Candidates need to make payment of their application fee by using Credit Card/Debit Card or Net Banking and then submit the application. The candidates should also take a printout of the completed application form after the completion of application process.

IISER 2018 Application Fees

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee for each category. The application fee amount for each category is given in the table below. The candidates are advised to check the fee amount of their category and lay the application fee according to their category.

Submission of IISER Application Form

The candidates filling the application form are advised to fill the application in a proper format and ensure their eligibility before filling the application form. Candidates are also advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference

Completing the online application process is enough for the submission of the application form. There is no need to send any document or printed application form to IISER in order to complete the application procedure.

• The candidate needs to fill in all the details in the respective columns and complete the application process.
• The candidates should check that the details filled by them in the application form are correct in all manner as because if the institute finds the application containing the false information, then the application of such candidates would be rejected.
• The Application Fee can be paid by online only, and the payment of the fee can be done only after the application process is complete.
• In case the payment is not successful in the first attempt, candidates should go ahead and make the payment again, in case the amount for the initial transaction was deducted, the same will be transferred back from the Bank’s end.
