GCET Results 2018 will be declared by DTE for admissions to the First Year of Professional Degree courses in the State of Goa on 16 May 2018. Goa CET 2018 will be conducted on 8 May and 9 May 2018 in Pen and Paper Based Mode across many test centres throughout Goa. Goa CET Results 2018 are valid for the particular Academic session only. GCET Final Merit List - For All the courses
The information related to the merit list given below is for all the courses offered through GCET. The candidates can find the complete details of the merit list for the different courses given below.
B.Tech Merit List:
Candidates can check their GCET B.Tech merit list 2018 by clicking on the link mentioned below. The GCET engineering final merit list was released on 15 June 2018.

- The merit list shall be based on aggregate marks of GCET–2018 in the subjects of Physics and Mathematics.
- In case the above marks of two or more applicants are equal, the applicant with more marks in GCET-2018 Mathematics shall be placed higher in the merit list.
- In case the marks in Mathematics are also equal, the applicant with more marks in GCET-2018 Chemistry will be placed higher in the merit list.
- In case the marks in GCET-2018 in Chemistry are also equal, the applicant with more aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics at the qualifying examination (Std.XIIth) will be placed higher in the merit list. In a case of a tie at this stage, applicant scoring more marks in Mathematics at the qualifying examination (Std.XIIth) will be placed higher in the merit list e. If all the above are also equal, then the applicant with an earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the order of merit.
B.Sc Nursing Merit List:
- The merit list shall be based on aggregate marks of GCET 2018 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates who have secured at least 50% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC, & 45% for PH in MBBS and BDS course) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology at GCET shall be considered for merit list for MBBS and BDS. There shall be no minimum marks for BHMS, BAMS, AHS & Nursing.
- In case the above marks of two or more applicants are equal, the applicant with more marks in Biology at GCET 2018 shall be placed higher in the merit list.
- In case the marks in Biology are also equal, the applicant with more marks in Chemistry at GCET 2018 will be placed higher in the merit list. In case, the marks at GCET 2018 in Chemistry are also equal,
- In case the marks at GCET-2018 in Chemistry are also equal, the applicant with higher aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying exam (Class 12) will be placed higher in the merit list.
- In the case of a tie at this stage, applicants securing more marks in Biology at qualifying exam (Class 12) will be placed higher in the merit list.
- In case of marks in Biology in qualifying exam are also equal, the applicant with higher marks in Chemistry at the qualifying exam (Class 12) will be placed higher in the merit list. g. If all the above are also equal, then the applicant with the earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the order of merit.
B.Pharm Merit List:
- The merit list shall be based on aggregate marks scored at GCET-2018 in the subjects of Physics and Chemistry.
- In case the above marks of two or more applicants are equal, an applicant with more marks in GCET-2018 Chemistry shall be placed higher in the merit list.
- In case the marks in GCET-2018 in Chemistry are also equal, the applicant with more aggregate marks in Physics and Chemistry at the qualifying examination (Std.XIIth) will be placed higher in the merit list. In the case of a tie at this stage, applicant scoring more marks in Chemistry at the qualifying examination (Std.XIIth) will be placed higher in the merit list.
- If all the above are also equal, then the applicant with an earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the order of merit.
B.Arch Merit List 2018:
- The merit list shall be based on an aggregate of marks obtained in NATA and the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (HSSC/Diploma) added in the ratio of 1:1 i.e with 50% weightage each for NATA score and aggregate marks in qualifying examination.
- In case the combined marks are equal, an applicant with higher NATA marks will be placed higher in order of merit.
- If the NATA marks are also equal, then applicant with higher marks in Mathematics will be placed higher in the merit list.
- If the above marks are also equal, then the applicant with an earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the merit list.
GCET Provisional Merit List
The Provisional Merit List for engineering program i.e. B.tech is released on 13 June 2018. Candiadates can download it by clicking on the below mentioned link. The provisional merit list of all professional courses and categories will be displayed on the Notice Board at the Admission Centre at Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, Goa as per the specified time and date. The same shall also be made available on the official website.

Separate provisional merit lists will be prepared for all categories as mentioned below:
- Medicine, Dentistry, Homeopathy, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing
- Engineering for all eligible candidates
- Pharmacy for all eligible candidates
- Architecture for all eligible candidates
Candidates are required to verify the correctness of their marks & merit position in the provisional merit list. In the case of any discrepancy, they should immediately inform the Chairman, Admission Committee, in writing, failing which, the Admission Committee shall not be held responsible.
GCET Results 2018 - Check Online
The students can search for their roll numbers in the GCET Results 2018 list. GCET Result 2018 is now available at the DTE official website and on Notice Board at DTE and the students can also check the result when available on this page as well. Therefore, the candidates are suggested to keep yourself updated on the website of motachashma for all the latest updates.
After the declaration of the result, the score wise list of the candidates is displayed. The merit list will also be displayed at the Admission Centre at Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, Goa as well as on the official website as per the specified schedule.
