NDA Application Form 2018- Application Started!

NDA Application Form 2018 can be filled only through online mode. There is no offline mode of filling the application form. Union Public Service Commission has released the admission notification for NDA 2018 on 15 January 2018. The link to fill the application form is also available on this page. Candidates will have to fill the NDA Application Form for admission to Army, Indian Navy, Air Force and Naval Academy of the NDA for the 141st course and for the 103rd Indian Naval Academy Course. NDA (I) 2018 will be conducted in Pen and Paper mode only on 22 April 2018 in all the major states of India.

NDA Application Form - Step by Step Guide

The NDA 2018 Application Form will be filled in two parts i.e Part I and Part II. The step by step guide is provided to fill each part of the application process.

The candidates are advised to pay attention while filling the form because once the application gets submitted then the candidates will not be able to do any changes.

NDA Online Form Part I - Registration

• Personal Profile: The information like 'Mother's name', 'Physically Challenged status’, ‘category', 'Community provided at the time of registration is of permanent nature and non-modifiable.
• Educational Qualification: The information entered in this section should be correct, else it might lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
• Contact Details: The information like Mobile Number, e-mail Id and the Address of Correspondence provided at the time of registration should be valid.
• Age Relaxation: The age relaxation for communities i.e. SC, ST and OBC are provided automatically by the system, based on the details furnished in Personal profile, if there is a vacancy(s) reserved for them.
• Specific Details: Candidates are required to give their preferences and enter whether they are the student of Sainik/Military School as well as Whether he is the son of JCO/NCO/ Other Rank Officers?
• Preview: Candidates are advised to check the filled in details and satisfy themselves that all information entered is correct.
• Registration ID: Candidates are required to note down the NDA Registration-Id generated, which will be required for further interaction with UPSC.

NDA Online Form Part II- Registration

• Signature and Photograph Upload Module: Under this section, the candidates are required to upload the signature and photograph, as per the guidelines mentioned above.
• Fee Payment: Candidates can pay the Application Fees Online or Offline
  • Debit/Credit Card: Online Candidates can also pay online using any Visa/Master Debit or Credit card issued by any Bank/ Institution.
  • SBI Internet Banking: Candidates can pay online using the Internet banking facility of the State Bank of India and its Associate Banks (State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Travancore and State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur)
  • SBI Bank Challan: Candidates can also Pay in Cash at any branch of State Bank of India through the Pay-in-Slip generated by the Online Recruitment Application system.

On successful submission of the complete application, an auto-generated email will be sent to the candidate's registered email-id. In case email is not received by you please check/ ensure that submission of Part-II of the Application has been made by you.

Documents to be uploaded to NDA Application Form

• High-quality image {in .jpeg format, size (40kb and not less than 3 KB)} of the candidate's photograph and Signature (1 KB).
• The candidates are required to upload good quality photographs and signatures.Poor quality of photographs submitted might lead to rejection of their NDA application.

Submission of NDA Application Form

 The NDA Application Form can be filled only through online mode so the candidates do not need to send any hard copy to the head of UPSC department. Candidates are advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference. 

Candidates are also advised to check the details of the application form before the final submission because once the application has been processed then the candidates will not be able to do any changes.

NDA Application Fee 2018

NDA 2018 application fees can be paid both online and offline mode. The application fee is different for each category. The candidates are advised to select the right category while filling the NDA Application Form.

Common Reasons for Rejection of NDA Application form

• Bad quality of submitted photograph or signature or both.
• Swapping of the photograph with that of signature. 
• Part 2 of the Application is not submitted to UPSC
• The applicant submitted multiple applications, however, fee deposited (Transaction ID** ) against a particular application (Registration ID*) is mentioned for other application having different RID.

NDA Application Form Important Points

• Applicants should avoid submitting multiple applications.
• If in the case due to some reason the candidates fill multiple applications, then the applications with higher RID (Registration ID)  shall be entertained by the commission.
• The applicants are advised to check their E-mail at regular intervals and keep a check that email address ending with nic.in are not redirected to the SPAM folder.
• Candidates are strongly advised to Apply online well in time without waiting for the last day hustle and bustle.
